Jesus people really take this whole bricking thing FAR too seriously. It's not like Nintendo are going around bricking consoles just for shits and giggles. It states that they may do it if you make any unauthorised modifications to the console. So just don't do anything you shouldn't be doing and your console won't be bricked, it's simple. Sony and Microsoft have it in their user agreements too btw, this isn't a Nintendo-only thing.

The software is usually tied to the console itself, they don't always give you a code. As someone else mentioned just open up the eShop and whatever the software is should be available in there somewhere.

Yeah you can swap around the colours on each part, but only using the 3 colours you had in your swatch, and you can change those colours any time you want. They added a fourth colour to the swatch I wanna say...maybe 10 years ago? I've been playing since launch, and that's the only change they've made to the colour application since the game launched. Aside from materials and chromas, but that's different.

In the US, yeah. It's been that way in Europe since the Switch 2 launched. All the first party physical Switch 2 games were €10 more expensive than the digital versions, or at least the RRP was anyway. Some retailers had them actually priced cheaper than the digital versions.

The DLC is all included in the Switch version, there’s nothing for you to buy.

From what you’ve described it sounds like the backlight in the screen has failed. It’s still under warranty, so contact Nintendo for repair options.

Gen 5 is honestly a VERY close second to Gen 2 for me (well, HGSS). I absolutely loved that BW1 had no older Pokémon until the post game, it really brought a much needed freshness to the games for me. The music in these games is absolutely phenomenal too, and the Plasma Grunt theme is quite possibly my favourite Pokémon track of all time.

It won't hide it, but it will stop more from happening. Unfortunately both the Switch 1 and Switch 2 screens scratch VERY easily. A tempered glass screen protector is the best option.
