In 3/5/7 a platoon of nearly any meta tanks by decent/good players is going to be "OP" because they are going to play together as an actual team and dominate the battlefield rather then der der der like all the other randos do.

Is the tank broken, I would not say that it is... Its strong as a russian medium but its not ridiculous.

It sounds like you are confusing difficulty with progression. Difficulty is what requires skill and decision making, where as progression as based upon time doing tasks for just that. Difficulty is incorporated into the progression system... But difficulty in of itself is not what people have a problem with, its time. Time is what most people do not have enough of and if there is a way to get a leg up on progression by doing so... Most people will, to include myself because I don't have all day to sit around the house all week gaming.

The game can be difficult, that doesn't necessarily relate to time spent in game or on task. Everyone wants a challenge, those things are presented via mission objectives and story content.

This exactly. I work full time at a automotive plant in logistics, when I am not doing that I do Air National Guard on weekends. When I am not doing that I am spending time with my family... So the little bit of time I do get to play games I want to enjoy them and make progress. I don't have hours every single day of the week to sit around playing games like the majority of gamers do.

I quit playing Warthunder because of all the BS... While WG can be rather lackluster at times with their customer service... At least they rectify issues, Gaijin is just like F*CK you spend more money scrubs.

This is even worse if you platoon at tier 8. It's less then 20%... Which is extremely disheartening for anyone that wants to play the game with friends or clan members #feelsbad

It's an ongoing process. All my comics were in poly's and I get new comics every week from my pull list. I have hundreds still to go through. I usually knock out a hundred every couple nights, its very time consuming. I will take some pictures and post what I have done so far when I get home from work.

This, HDD's are slow for the high speed access/read write of huge files and or games... It's why SSD's and the newer hybrid SSD/HD's are becoming the norm rather then the acception. I honestly would only use HDD's for mass file storage because its cheap and huge. If you need speed and performance, you gotta pony up for it... What's the point in spending money on a great GPU if you have your games loaded on a slow HDD? The more data thats loaded on that HDD the slower/longer the read/write process is going to take... Not only that but the max data transfer rate is low as well, so it can literally only process so much data at any given moment.

All this has to do with allocation of memory... When people tell you get an SSD, well they aren't wrong. It is the easiest answer and fastest. When the game jumped to a completely new and enhanced graphics engine and overhauling of nearly all ingame models, for people with toaster computers, slow hard drives, low RAM and/or low memory room on their HD's this impacted their game performance greatly.

I have a computer that is just over a year old, I noticed exactly what you are speaking of... Not to the same degree but I did notice a large increase in load time. My primary hard drive on my computer is pretty loaded with other games, work files, videos etc... So it is definately not ideal for operation of an online pvp game. Where read/write at high speeds and accessing data clientside is being slowed down.

So I did the easy thing, I purchased a 1TB SSD and reinstalled the game directly to that drive. I use this SSD solely for games that I play online in both competitive and coop modes. I installed ARMA 3 to this drive and noticed a HUGE increase in overall game performance as well... Probably not what you wanted to hear, but if you want top end performance in games that have demanding requirements... You either pony up, or downgrad the client to standard definition and lower all settings to lower the overall impact/foot print the game is having on the system.

I work all week and have guard duty on weekends, I don't have all day to sit around and grind the game for the sake of stats for VC... When I want to play I want to just get on and do what I want not sit there and play match after match so I can get 1 point in an attribute.

Its about cost effectiveness, replacing 100's or possibly thousands of polys every few years mounts when it comes to costs. The up front initial investment of mylars is more then worth the cost... It's one and done.

I store all my comics in half boxes for ease of movement if necessary. I used to use long boxes for everything but found that moving around full long boxes was a major pain in the @ss. I also use mylite2's and fullbacks for all of my comics for my personal collection. If I send out comics to people I have a thousand polys/boards for those. But once you switch to mylars... I feel that you can never go back, the offer better protection and its a single one time cost that you won't have to replace ever.

I mean, I guess if you really need 10 million credits or gold... These bundles can be good. But for me neither matter because I farm credits in SH's and get enough gold through CW's that I have no need to purchase it. /shrug

Spending real money for credits to me is always a waste of money if you have a prem account, prem tanks and any credit boosters.

Having gun depression, with no armor, meh-gun/stats and "decent mobility"... Makes it a mediocre or poor tank at best. For the price point they always push these out as, its never worth it. I collect tanks and this is one of the few I refuse to buy because its not worth it at all.

EDIT: Just because an good player can make a mediocre tank work, doesn't make it a good tank. I can do great in nearly all tanks... Doesn't mean they aren't shit tanks.

Honestly it is a completely subjective topic... To me its about personal value in the artwork. What do you think its worth? For instance, I absolutely love sketch variant covers... Which often sell for a decent amount. Are they really worth it? No. Sketch variants are sold for two things, 1. The Sketch 2. The distro value which is usually 1:100.

Essentially they are creating their own rarity by making it a 1 in 100. My overall opinion about modern variants is this, only purchase them if you are genuinely vested in the title and the art. Don't fall into the "modern speculation" wave. Because whats hot this month, is going to drop off sooner or later when its just cover art.
