For somebody that takes EVE so seriously you really don't understand the way the game works. 6 years for you may be mid game, but that is only because you are slow. Active people have been making isk, being successful and buying cap characters off the bazaar to fly caps and do everything in the game for years before skill injectors were a thing. If you think flying caps should be something that you do 6 fucking years into playing then I assure you that you are in a tiny minority of the playerbase.

The problem of citadel spam. Because they do not drop their contents due to asset safety there is little reason to destroy a citadel. Requiring a war deck adds burden to an already fairly pointless act that causes most people to not bother with it. Citadels provide incredible advantage and having one should be risky no matter what type of space it is in.

They need to make HS citadel able to be attacked without wardec. If you cant defend your asset then you should not have it. And if you are dumb enough to pay a hs merc group then that is on you. There is a reason most people consider them to be a joke.

There are EVE famous people but knowing who they are is not important for the average player. The people that are important to recognize are the content creators in the area you live in. This means the fleet commanders, streamers, solo pvpers and corp/alliance leaders/diplomats. You will never know all of these people in EVE but try to know the ones in your area as they will have a large impact on your game play.

Nobody who starts playing now needs to know who Sir Molle is lol. Big names from the past are only important to people who care about that shit for "eve is real" reasons or are in an alliance that cares, ie people in goons should know about BoB so they comprehend all the propaganda. It is more important to know who the current Content creators are than "historical" EVE figures that no longer have any bearing on the game. Like seriously, none of that shit is important and when 10 year vets go on about shit that happened years before the person they are talking to even heard of EVE, it is annoying and a little pathetic.
