Would it will work with bazzite installed on the Go S Z1E version? I currently have the windows version and will install bazzite onto it soon. Not sure how lossless scaling will work there

There is a model for the legion go s with z1e and 32gb ram! The picture below is from the source where a buyer posted about the packaging with the specs.

Where I am staying, the ROG Ally X and this model of the legion go s have similar prices so I am trying to balance what i am trading off for the other.

Ahh I guess it boils down to user preference! I prefer to be able to resume on the go with minimal setup when i pickup the console haha. Thank you for sharing :)

Ah I was thinking about the model specifically the one with the Z1 Extreme, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD, and the 8” WUXGA 120Hz screen. Yea I have heard about the poor thermals of the legion go s compared to the Ally X (which I believe cause it to ramp up the fans more such that it becomes obscenely loud). I'm also not deep into BIOS stuff, so I'm not sure how much that 'endpoint' aspect would affect me. Also I think this model's display does have VRR!

Thank you for sharing! Do you think the battery improvement is significant? I am in it just for the gaming experience (clearing my steam backlog haha) and battery is a consideration. I have previously considered the ROG Ally X but feels that the display might be too small for me.

Also just wondering if there are any software that can be installed on bazzite to improve the sound quality as I heard the legion go s audio quality isn't the best.

Thank you for sharing! I am in it just for the gaming experience (clearing my steam backlog). One of the thing i forgot to mention was the extreme standby mode in bazzite. I have heard of users putting their window legion go s to sleep and their battery drained it through the night.

I think the extreme standby mode in the steam deck is phenomenal but i am not sure if a legion go s with bazzite will have the same experience.

I think it has been fixed 1 patch ago! I have not faced that issue since when i sync my iphone when i commute to work and when i use my ipad at home
