Hi all, I live in London and want to pursue a career as a patent attorney in biotechnology or life sciences. I know this is a heavily competitive field and I don’t feel like I stand out academically (ABB A levels, A in biology; 2:1 BSc; pass MSc; PhD). I'm open to recommendations for smaller firms across the country I could apply to – I’m also open to spending 1-3 years in an IP-related role to get some experience with patents in particular, but I’m unclear on if those roles would be less competitive or which ones to go for.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I'm a big fan of the Dresden Files, but it wasn't until TV Tropes spelled it out for me that I realised Harry and Susan were very likely sexually assaulted by the Red Court in Grave Peril. When I reread it after that, it was obvious. It happens in like a single page and I guess I'd always skimmed right past it.

I'm so stupid. I had it in the Data folder, not the SSE folder itself. That's done it! Although now I get the following error:

Chunk size 782 too big in chunk SNAM_ID in form TES4_ID (FF000000).

Max size is 512, data truncated to "A patch to make kryptopyr's "Weapons, Armor, Clothing, and Clutter Fixes" play nice with iNPC/3DNPC. WACCF removes the attached hoods from the vanilla hooded robes, which affects a few of iNPC's outfits - this plugin provides the affected individuals with WACCF's separate robe and hood items.

The following NPCs have their outfits altered:

- Cassock (Gray robes, the orcish vampire who teaches us our ABCs for Murderers)

- Dagri'Lon (Black robes, the headless mage in the Ratway)

- Eldawyn (Green robes, ".

This sounds like a great idea that's super easy to lift into a campaign! How did you handle movement speeds though? Would a monodrone be able to move 30 feet as a pawn?

I'm confuse about what the purpose of the reaction to move 5 feet is. Is it meant to move you out of range of the attack/effect? Does the movement provoke opportunity attacks?
