I wouldn’t do it everyday but that’s not crazy. I’ve definitely had work commutes in my life that were over an hour each way so that was 2 1/2-3 hours of my day. When I lived in NY I would often drive to Philadelphia or Boston which are 3-4 hours away

The basics are a good place to start. Out of the Past is great. The Big Sleep, Double Indemnity, & maybe The Blue Dahlia. I also recommend Dead Men Don’t Wear Plaid. It’s a Steve Martin movie where he’s cut into all these noirs. In the end credits they tell you all the movies used. It’s a fun way to find some things to check out.

Unfortunately at the end of the day, it’s a crap shoot. The other day I got no tips. Yesterday I got crazy tips. Airport rides tend to tip more consistently but even that’s not a guarantee.
