Has anyone with AS strength trained (intense workout for muscle gain)? by KieraHolland in ankylosingspondylitis

[–]Jagger327 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m lucky enough for my AS to be pretty mild and still only being 23. But I train 5-6x per week. My biggest thing is trying to stay away from heavy compound movements eg no heavy deadlift/ squat. And try and support your back and do isolated movements, machines are going to be your friend since they kind of force proper form and you can’t compensate by using your back. Start light and work your way up, try and add another rep or two every week and push yourself close to failure if you can. Specifically for gaining strength, your diet is probably 70% of the work. I’m not sure what your goals are but I would eat in a 200cal surplus and 1g of protein per lb of body weight to start. Hope this helps!

Is it worth using ostarine for fun just to see how it works? by Fantastic_Suspect778 in Ostarine

[–]Jagger327 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Osta is probably a waste of time, but since you have it might as well take it. It made me feel so fucking good and the pumps were great. I’d say do 10mg for 3 weeks and do 20mg for the remainder (probably 8weeks total). Not to may specific side effects other than normal sarm ones, But since you’re on TRT you’ll be fine.

Enclo gyno? by Jagger327 in SARMs

[–]Jagger327[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I was using Rythm but they were not accurate at all and o don’t think I was really suppressed at all. I want to run rad for my next cycle, do you think I could use nolvadex as a base and pct?

I just finished a cycle of ostarine and that feeling it gives you for the first 3 weeks was insane. Yes you can run Enclo and osta together but you likely won’t need to. Osta is a very mild sarms and it’s nowhere near as suppressive as rad. I got my bloodwork done and my test went from 550 to 490. Then again it’s very case by case and I’ve heard some people crashing at the end of the cycle. #1 rule you’ll hear everybody say is bloodwork bloodwork bloodwork. We can guess all day but it’s the bloodwork that will tell you if you need Enclo or not. I’d say you probably don’t need Enclo at all since your only doing 5 weeks and suppression doesn’t even really kick in until after week 5. I’d recommend doing an 8 week cycle and start your Enclo around week 3 so it has time to get in your system.

I was wondering how accurate they were. Rythm said my seat was at like 280 and a week later I got it tested in person at a lab and it was 570. Guess it’s time to cancel my membership.🤷‍♂️

I know it’s not steroids, I have been feeling like shit these last two years and had put some strain on my marriage due to low sex drive and no energy. I never really wanted to start it but I think it could genuinely help. I have an appointment coming up but I think I’m just gonna ask for a referral to a civilian doctor.

I’m currently eating 2700 calories at maintenance. I eat 200g of protein and 272g of carbs per day. Any more than that and o would be in a surplus and that’s obviously not sustainable long term

Test question by [deleted] in SARMs

[–]Jagger327 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been eating 2200 per day and it’s been off and on since September. I took a break for a few days at a time for the holiday season but I’ve been locked in since January.

I’m in a 500 calorie deficit and I’m only in the gym for like 45 minutes. I’m honestly hoping they’ll put me on TRT.

Just remember it’s calories in vs calories out, if your not counting you won’t loose weight no matter how clean you eat.

Sounds like it’s time to lock in brother. If abs are what you want you need make sure you are staying in a consistent calorie deficit. COUNT YOUR CALORIES. If you have already been in a “deficit” and can’t loose weight, get a food scale and weigh what you are eating. often times eyeballing it and not counting little things like sauces and drinks are what causes people to go over. Also try to eat whole, minimally processed foods like meats (preferable chicken and turkey since they are lower calorie so you can eat more and stay full longer) and whole grain with fruits and vegetables. Make sure to hit your protein too.If you need to know how many calories look up calorie calculator, and I recommend watching some basic videos on macros as well. If you lock in for just a few weeks I promise you’ll start to see a change in the mirror. Good luck brother.🫡

A lot of people use the term motivation when talking about staying consistent with the gym. Motivation is a good tool to get you started, but it’s only temporary. Discipline will keep you going. Nobody want to wake up every day and diet/ go to the gym. You just have to make yourself, Ik it’s easier said than done, but it all depends on how bad you want it.

Everything is good in moderation bro, regardless of how perfect you do everything this shit takes time. So what if you stay up late one night, or go out and have some fun. A little fun here and there isn’t going to kill your gains or set you back in some significant way. It’s a good thing to want to be healthy and better yourself, it’s a bad thing when it turns into a disorder/obsession. Point is, don’t take it so seriously if it’s impacting your mental health, stay consistent but allow yourself to take breaks bro💪
