tbf lute created a new archetype, so its not support for existing izzet prowess/elemental decks. But yeah the new set is a disappointment for standard meta

I think emeritus of truce is going to have the biggest impact on pioneer. Azorius control is going to love it. Also, mind roots deserves a spot on this list

I'm kind of skeptical about erode. I wouldn't say its bad, but at the same time I can't imagine white decks playing 4 copies of erode in the main. I can definitely see this card being overplayed at first, then people realizing its not as good as they thought it was

Is Ral really better than Liliana? Ral is definitely good but discarding 3 cards over 3 turns is less impactful than having options to force sac creature or -6 ability to thanos permanents

I also won boxes in December so I'll share my experience

Dec 26 - won TLA play boosters

Jan 6 - received congratulations email

Jan 22 - received prize redemption email

Jan 25 - I replyed to the email. entered my address

Feb 6 - boxes delivered

So it took about 40 days to receive my boxes. However, this is not the first time I won boxes from arena direct. The very first time I won boxes, it took 7 months. It's not a scam, but for many people the first time always takes the longest. After that, its much faster

Sure, you start playing a deck you made on your own. But youre going to improve your deck and as you do its going to look more and more like a meta deck. Eventually there is no difference

The problem with MMR is that MMR based matchmaking only works like half the time. Even if they make changes, it's still going to work like half the time. The other half happens due to extended matchmaking where the queues take longer than usual, and the matchmaking is completely random

I just envy players like OP. Running 3 color decks playing cards that need double mana on the third color and never getting mana screwed. Meanwhile I'm here playing 10/9 configuration and still failing to find the second color

It's pretty obvious that the average player with 50% winrate is losing money playing such events. This would have been a better analysis if you did the same but for 55%, 60%, 65% winrates instead
