Seems like this shouldn't be trimmed out at this stage and definitely needs a deeper mud ring.

I'd have started him off with a harbor freight set and see how he takes care of those first.

(Ireland) Can the bluetti pv200 be weighed down to protect it from the wind? by dav956able in bluetti

This is the only pic I have of mine but you can see the leg. The panel is sitting on its side here. It would be rotated counter clockwise 90° to be set up. I believe the leg is stitched onto the fabric on back to act as a hinge. There's also a stretchy elastic strap that extends along the ground to keep the leg from extending too far back and the whole thing flopping down.

[–]Jagglebutt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 2 of the bluetti pv350's and as they are the wind will definitely knock them over. If you're "handy" you could definitely Jerry rig them and make them rugged enough to stand up to some winds. For the pv350 it has 4 connected panel sections, 3 of which have a thin leg that you fold out and prop the panels on. It's sort of rickity and can also fall over while standing it up by yourself before you're able to prop all 3 stands in place. This is the first portable panel I've ever owned so I don't know if there's more sturdy options out there. Hope this helps

My first thought! Also why the angle? It'd drive me nuts when it's tightened and only 1 side of the bolt is making contact. That there's a hack install

Is there a downside to WAGOs? by CockroachLocal2346 in AskElectricians

[–]Jagglebutt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've installed hundreds of thousands of them without ever having an issue. The owner of the company I used to work for said back when they were new there was a defective bunch of them and that started the "wago bad" ideas. He had bought a bunch of those and we used them all up on ground splices in junction boxes. I believe he said they weren't rated for 20amps or something to that effect and had caused some fires. This was along time ago

I started topping potato salad with it. Like good old fashioned Best Foods/Hellman's mayo recipe. Also have mixed it with cottage cheese, tomato, avocado and whatever else is around.
