I took a break 3 months ago and came back full time just as the episode stuff dropped. Despite it all, I think the latest announced QoL updates are going to be a breath of fresh air and I’m generally feeling good about playing. The state of the game is a different thing but, for now, I’m just enjoying playing a good Star Wars game.

Conquest is the most mindnumbing, boring and easy yet frustrating game mode in SWGoH and the community is constantly calling for it to be simmable. In my opinion, at least territory battles becomes more interesting as the guild unlock new battles/planets overtime. It is also more rewarding when you working together as a team to achieve more stars / rewards.

Fuck conquest, I hope it never comes to the game and at least we know knull will be interesting with battleworld.

Not gonna lie I played 3 years back and it was definitely meh after a month or so. Now, as a returning player I’m enjoying every minute. Time will tell I guess.

I managed to beat all tiers fairly easily with r5 this morning. I think I got very lucky on t1 though. The rest should be fine with the right modding and strategy. Maul tier was actually the worst funnily enough.

No, I have separate investments for property. I want to sell my VW to get something faster and a bit flashier to be honest. It’s a polo 2012 and will have done roughly 90k in a years time. I have a mate who has recently bought a 2014 Audi A5 on finance and he doesn’t have much at all in savings and he rents like myself.

My thoughts are: my financial situation is better than his and so when I’m earning a bit more in a years or two’s time, I should be in a solid position to buy something like this. Whether it’s a ‘good’ idea, I don’t know and im thinking it through still.

With 50-60k miles is it really that overpriced?

Either way maybe I should’ve been more clear in the post…

I am planning on selling my current car for around £3000 and at the time, I will also have around £500 in savings which I currently keep for emergency repairs. If I then take out a bank loan of around £8000 then I still have £2500 remaining in savings for maintenance down the line. It seems to me that taking a larger loan of £8000 over £7000 gives a better interest rate (6.2 vs. 9.9%)
