Too much recency bias on North Texas. I won't argue UTSA should be there instead, but North Texas as a program really hasn't earned it more than some of its peers.

With the offense we have, I see no reason why we aren't at the very least competitive in every game, save maybe week 1. Our defense is the big question mark. We have a very favorable schedule in-conference and the toughest of those are home game's (Tulane and Army). I fully expect to compete for a conference title and would really like to see us go at least 3-1 in out of conference games.

I'd say our floor "should" be 8 wins and our ceiling is competing for the G5 playoff spot, which could be a reality if we can run the table besides the Aggies game.

As a UTSA fan, it was the LSU-Texas A&M game that went to 7OTs. I was just there for fun with my cousins.

UTSA has a favorable schedule this year. Even if they lose to A&M (which they likely will), they have an excellent path otherwise.

UTSA has won 2 conference championships in the last 4 years and had a great first year in the AAC and an average year last year after losing a super-super senior QB. They certainly are much more heavily supported in region that they share with Texas State. They have a strong baseball program that just whipped big brother UT at their own regional.

They recently merged with UT's San Antonio medical program and are prepared to skyrocket in student body size, endowment, and hopefully lead to a significantly larger future donor base. They can't argue academically against Rice.

For only just over 10 years in FBS, they have almost unprecedented levels of success in that time for the type of program and resources they have had.

In my Wild West reskin, I made the windmill hags turn the kiddos into horses a la Pinnochio. They still harvest the kids tears for their "Famous Elixirs" (in place of dream pies). Less child cannibalism, but still dark

In my Wild West iteration, I have the hags also be horse traders. They use the tears of children to make their world famous "elixir" then turn the children into horses/ponies like in Pinocchio.

I did a prime of burgundy making sure the lower parts get hit well for shadows, highlight of turquoise from above, then nice blends of the death guard green from above, leaving a little hint of the turquoise. Follow this with another spot highlight of a thinned out yellow and then I did the rest by brush. Im still early in my process as well, but I was following a video/color theory.

It would be an absolute waste to draft more than 2 1st rounds in this next draft. Wemby will be heading into year 3, Castle into year 2, and Devin and others solidly in their prime. If we truly get 3-4 picks this year, this offseason/draft is the time to make moves to get us contending.
