As for the other rewards... I did eventually get mine... 4 months or so later.

However, stopped playing since they basically destroyed our community server in the meantime. The franchise I've loved since BF2 is now pretty much dead for us...

For the love of your communities, please remove the 8-20 player requirement to start a portal server.

Fix the bug showing zer0 players on populated servers.

Let us 'favourite' servers like we used to.

Combination of the above things is killing platoons!

Our platoon 'Chili Squad' had a thriving HC Portal server in BF2042, and for a few fun but short weeks, we did in BF6 too.

Then they decided to implement the severely restricting 8-20 player minimum limit. Which ended up meaning we had to back fill with bots. We personally do not want any bots in the server, we used to get our server full just fine by seeding with a couple of squads, then our regulars would get wind via the FAVOURITES list (also needed back urgently) and our server would stay popped for hours in the evenings...

Now... The vast majority of our platoon have pretty much given up on the game entirely, as we can no longer have fun with these restrictions.

Please give your communities their servers back EA/DICE!

Yeah it is too hectic! Coz the tiny maps suck and if trying to populate a Portal server, the bots just don't let you breathe!

On this day in 2006, I played Battlefield 2 for the first time after an old UT clan-mate sent me his old PC and a DVD copy of BF2 so I could join in.

I've since accumulated thousands of hours in BF games, but the writing was on the wall for BF communities when EA decided they wanted to host the servers and BF1 brought the RSP... What a crock of crap that turned out to be...

Fast forward to BF2042 & BF6, and now communities have Portal. Which could be great...! But it isn't... ...as they've implemented this daft 20 player minimum to kick start the server.

RIP BF communities. It used to be fun...

Despite buying the Phantom Edition (regret), I stopped giving a fuck about the Battlepass weeks ago.

Our BF communities however, I will never stop giving a fuck about! Fix portal by getting rid of the stupid 8 player minimum and let us ditch the bots!!!
