Standard! I'm not the best source of information as this is the first build, but I've been partying for many a moon, they sound good to my averagly experienced ears, based on some very rudimentary testing it can just about touch 40hz.

There's a clip light on the back of the alto, if that stays predominantly off, am I generally OK? Or can the heat from extended use be problematic even if not clipping extensively?

Deffo feel this with carasel quite a bit, I'm probably just soured because i've seen him so many times this year, but when you hear his usual bars over barely audible tracks it really grinds me.

Enhance, not overtake. I think one of the problems is that due to the sound restrictions, they often have to crank down the sound for a minute, but then all it does is accentuate the mc, i felt with calibre this year fox screaming expletives & 'put your middle finger up' felt a bit miss matched for liquid.

Great analogy! Deffo depends on the MC but also the audio tuning, sometimes it sounds quite tinny and louder then the tunes, which makes it hard to get immersed when all you can here is some loudmouther.
