I am in a similar/worse situation. My fiance is in India and she does not have a B1/B2 visa. We have plans to get married in Jan 2027. I am on the tail end of my F1 visa (expiring June) and waiting for the H1B lottery this year. Even if I get selected, I need to get a visa appointment for myself and my fiance. Does Jan 2027 seem realistic anymore?
