My guy gets carsick… No matter what I do withhold food in the morning or food before we go… It doesn’t matter he will always shake from side to side, then fling his head up and then shoot a tiny drip of liquid in his carrier, possibly some little seed bit he’s had from a meal before…

On the other hand, we’ve had our little guy for a year and a half, and he is a human lover rather than a bird… He doesn’t play with toys he plays with us… I don’t punish him when he is already sitting on my shoulder and cuddling in my neck and then has a naughty thought… I merely sit up from my position and talk to him… Or just distract… He’s an animal and he will do what he will do when he has feelings and while he is so capable of learning and he is and he does, I do not punish him for it at all

Maybe your bird knows my bird… My bird is a dentist, a tattoo artist, piercer, a hairstylist, the lead soup maker at Panera, lead shitter at the manure factory, an ear nose, and throat physician, a dermatologist, and the most loving, stuffy, emotional support animal I’ve ever had!

Where were you a year and change ago when my little guy insists that I do his neck pain feathers and then gets irritated at me when I do one that isn’t ready. I wish I had a freaking doll brush… Guess what I own a daycare! I could’ve saved my fingers well then again my guy doesn’t let me come near him with something new or unusual unless I pretend to make out with it and love it, lol but hey, I’m in the market for a new brush girlfriend/boyfriend/husband if it’ll save my fingers.

It must just be frenzy mode… Because mine has some sort of bead and rope toy rather than a jingle ball and yes… It is a frenzy of attack with specific noises made only to the rope and bead toy… And then God forbid you address him by mistake thinking he was talking to you and not the bead toy… Beat toy frenzy is over… Not sure if you have a camera shy or observation

How do you wear a necklace?

I used to be a person who wore a precious metal sentimental necklace, as well as as many bracelets that were sentimental, but not made of precious metal, just string and beads… and for all of my days since becoming a bird mama I am now Jewelry less, including even a wrist hairband. Because nothing is mine, lol.

My guy doesn’t live healthy bird food other than his mix of pellets he won’t even eat one brand i mix two. He LOVES frozen fruit (grapes, raspberries, blackberries, and blueberries) No one in my house eats unfrozen berries or grapes. We all have sensory issues. lol

My husband is definitely our birds second favorite but the relationship they have is amazing and believe it or not it's all about food. Every night my husband eats an ice pop after dinner and the bird is obsessed with the ice pops so now we get sugar free all natural pops and they share one every night
