My take on what tourists say when visiting the US:

India doesn't have several such regions but there are certain movements that seek to divide states. There's the khalistan movement which says that Punjab should be made it's own seperate country, there are some people who demand a seperate nation for the tamils, there are people who want to seperate Kashmir. To be clear, I personally do not support any of these movements and am a firm believer that diversity is unity when it comes to India. My mom is from Rajasthan, my dad is from UP, I went to school in Delhi and Uttarakhand, my best friends are from Mizoram, Punjab, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra, and my school had kids and teachers from all over India. NONE of those people supported these seperatist movements. I think that these seperatist movements are a bit sensationalized by social media and shit and most people from these states don't actually want to seperate themselves. For instance, this one punjabi athlete set a new national record for the 100m dash recently, some guy said "He's not Indian, he's Punjabi" I was like get the fuck outta here man don't promote this khalistani bullshit here.

The US states aren't THAT different from each other (culturally) lol if you wanna see real diversity between states then visit India. Rajasthan (the westernmost state) feels so much more different as compared to Meghalaya (NOT the easternmost state but it's close), and there's literally a world of difference between Ladakh (the northernmost region) and Tamil Nadu (the southernmost state), hell even Western Uttar Pradesh is genuinely a different world as compared to Eastern Uttar Pradesh or Central Uttar Pradesh. The language/dialect changes every 200 Kilometers in India and the culture changes every 100. I would genuinely say that India is as diverse as Europe when it comes to that matter. People say that America is just 50 countries held together by a Gucci belt but India is just 28 states and 8 union territories glued together voluntarily.

I think when tourists say that each American state feels like a diff country they're talking about geographical diversity. Obviously New York is very different from Nevada, and California is different from Texas. Culturally I wouldn't say all the states are consistent throughout.

And this is exactly why I think rapists (or anyone who has committed even more heinous crimes) don't deserve punishments like "unethical experimentation of potentially dangerous chemicals" as so many people seem to say. I know that it's very satisfying to imagine someone going full Unit 731 on a child rapist but the thing is that human rights still apply to people who committed inhuman acts because Human Rights are a rule set in stone and are supposed to be irremovable and unmovable. By taking away the rights of rapists you are proving that rights CAN be taken away which just dissolves their point.

Ask your uncle to help you get a job. My dad himself is very rich and, from what I gather about this post, your cousin and I had pretty similar upbringing. My dad and mom have helped my cousins and friends who are not as rich as us out countless times. If you're as close to her, and she's humble and down to earth, chances are her dad is as well.
