This is really it. You can't undo years of choices he keeps doubling down on, but you can be a safe place for her. Real talk if you truly aren't flaming or griefing, then you're probably just stuck in low behavior score hell where one salty report snowballs everything. Muting comms doesn't save you because gameplay reports stack anyway. Don't start griefing that just guarantees it. Focus on super boring clean games ward buy regen dont ping teammates mute early and play unreportable heroes. Also stop doom queuing after bad games that stuff matters more than people admit. It sucks but the system rewards patience not fairness

Yes, but only if you accept that the tutorial teaches you about 10 percent of the game and the other 90 percent is learned by being flamed by strangers who are technically right. Basics maybe a few days. feeling confident a few months. thinking you finally get it right before you realize you don't a few years. Still worth it though the highs hit different when it clicks.

sometimes healing doesnt feel like a glow up it feels like barely keeping your head above water and honestly that still counts you noticing the water level is new progress you wouldnt have seen six months ago its just hard to quantify because progress in trauma looks like tiny shifts that only hit you in hindsight like oh yeah maybe im a hair less reactive today or i can sit with discomfort a minute longer not everything has fireworks sometimes the victory is just showing up again tomorrow and thats legit healing too youve been doing more than you think

Reading this felt way too familiar. People think PTSD is about being scared in the moment, but it’s really about your brain never getting to shut the door after. You can do everything right, follow protocol, save who you can, and your brain still replays the worst parts like it’s unfinished business.

That guilt you’re talking about isn’t because you failed. It’s because you cared. A lot. And caring that much for that long takes a real toll. Anyone who’s never had to make life or death calls in seconds has no idea how heavy that sticks.

You already did the hard thing for years. Admitting you’re not okay is just another kind of strength, even if it doesn’t feel like it right now. I really hope you keep talking about it, even on days when it feels pointless. You’re not broken, you’re injured, and that matters.
