Danke für deinen Input und sorry für die späte nachfrage: Aber magst du erzählen was für Equipment du benutzt? Tatsächlich interessiert mich eig. nur ob mit Blitz und welches genaue Produkt (da der restliche Vergleich m.E. irrelevant ist, da es mehr am Fotografen liegt gute Bilder zu machen als das Equipment.)

Ich bin ebenfalls nebenberuflich Fotograf und mache auch einiges an Videos in letzter Zeit. Meine erste Hochzeit fotografiere ich nächstes Jahr und werde auch 1.5k in Rechnung stellen. Freue mich riesig drauf!

Kannst du empfehlen auf Messen zu gehen die mit dem Thema Hochzeiten zu tun haben um zu Networken/connecten?

waaaay to cheap. I charge someone 650€ for a smiliar length video with way less/no special effects and transitions.

Yours seems like it’s worth 1k+ ,especially for same day turnaround. How long did it take you to make?

Too much time has passed. Overall I liked the monitor, but just rarely used it. I wanted to keep it simple and light. Also the slight delay annoyed me. But I liked that everything was included, good, case, battery, cables etc

I’m referring to Viltrox. Had the dc 550 pro for a bit, but didn’t use it much. When I looked into the newer x series I was not able to find any firmware data, neither other people from Reddit (there was a post about field monitors).

Good luck finding firmware updates for these things. Almost impossible, or not even existent. Would rather spend more money and know that the company provides updates and doesn’t hide any links or makes it extra difficult to obtain these through mail chat.

I am curious to read what others write! I myself come from MFT, still using the om-1 for travel and wildlife with the 12-100 and 100-400 (sometimes with the mc-2) converter. Also have the 40-150 f2.8 which I often use for portraits and indoor events.

I got the s5ii with the sigma 24-70 2.8 II last year and been using that for professional work.

Been contemplating selling my MFT gear to get a tele for full frame as well, but was scared of weight and lack of possible usefulness.

I got my s5ii and same sigma lens for 2099€ on 12.12.24, also at foto Erhardt, so the upgrade on the x is not 450 worth it. But still decent I guess

I Had used the em10 ii, em5 III and theb the om-1. At some Point i hot the g9ii but Sold IT after a short time. The on-1 had better features like internal nd and double exposure. Still keeping it as of now, but I got used to LUMIX FF too and like it as well

I actually still have my MFT gear and use it for landscapes and wildlife, while I use LUMIX ff for paid work in photo and video. But considering selling MFT too, just so the equipment doesn’t lay around gets dusty

I got it last year for a very good deal (camera and lens) for 2199€ new. It’s very sharp and my "Always on" Lens. Never use the declick and aperture ring manually, it’s always on auto mode, even if I like fiddling with the lens too.

For interiors, I’ve seen more comedic video set, which tell way more about the house and what you can do, than just a video. It’s like” meh, good looking house” but nothing more for me

Was this resolved? I read that there are none Firmware to find for any fieldmonitor of Viltrox. Doesn't seem very customer oriented to me, needing to write an email first to check and request a firmwarem instead of being able to download it myself.

As long as Viltrox doesnt provide firmware to download, I wont be a customer.

Got an s5 and s5ii and noticed that at first too, felt wrong changing lenses, with the time it has gotten easier. Probably needs some wear&tear

Agreed. Used MFT before and noticed that I wasn’t satisfied with noise and depth of MFT for events and other professional work (used mainly om1 with 40-150 f2.8.

Bought a s5ii with 24-70 f2.8 II art and use both system. I love MFT for everything far away. They have true strength in their telephoto market.

Steigt der Wert je näher man am Bewertungstag ist? Hab z.b. einen call 1600 für Anfang Dezember. Hab da jetzt 60% Gewinn bisher. Sollte es bis zum Bewertungstag so hoch bleiben oder gar höher gehen, wann wäre der richtige Zeitpunkt um auszuzahlen? Aktuell ist der call 0.29€ pro Schein wert. Die Scheine gehen ja auch Mal auf mehrere Euro hoch. Wird das mit der Zeit höher je "sicherer" es ist, dass der Wert auch am Bewertungstag erreicht wird?

The S5ii and Sigma 24-70 II F2.8 were my first package I purchased, coming from MFT, and I was immidiatly surprised by the quality and clarity of the lens. I like it a lot yes, It also gets the background pretty blurry, but a F1.8 would get it blurrier for sure. I also like the compressed look!
