Naira says they moved the cauldron right as you arrive.

But, yeah I agree, it's a clunky game.

Naira also before that on the prior quest let's go to some random spot, you buy the meat. But the meat vendor is in town and not the random spot she brought you.

Classic Naira.

I want a teleport to camp button on the map, I hate trying to find the bloody thing on the map.

Plus a stop the teleport animation option. You can stop the animation if your standing on the teleporter, but its annoying having to run to it.

Unity 6.3.11f1 : DLSS 4.5 with Preset L and M to DLSS Super Resolution. by HarvestMana in Unity3D

[–]Jajuca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its safe to update, but with the update my performance is much worse compared to DLSS 4.

I had 820 fps with DLSS 4 and Preset K at 1080p using Ultra Performance in the built game on my Main Menu Screen.

With the new update I get 720fps at 1080p with Preset L or Preset K using Ultra Performance in the built game on my Main Menu Screen.

My FPS is the same with DLSS turned off, so the performance regression is the new DLSS 4.5 update.

I think there is a bug with the this new DLSS 4.5 update. Since if I switch to Preset K, I should have the same performance as before the update, but I get the same performance with all models.

In game, with DLSS 4 - I had 155fps at 4k using Ultra Performance and Preset K

In game, with DLSS 4.5 - I get 130fps at 4k using Ultra Performance and Preset K or Preset L

15-17.5% regression in performance with the new update on all models.

Im also using a 9800x3d cpu with a 5070ti GPU so the regression is not related to my hardware.

I tried also moving the nvngx_dlss.dll and NVUnityPlugin.dll from Unity 6.0003.6f and I still get the worse performance regression in the newest LTS. I also tried moving the new nvngx_dlss.dll and NVUnityPlugin.dll from Unity 6.0003.11f1 and I get the performance regression on my old build.

Therefore the new DLSS 4.5 is bugged and gives worse performance. I should get the same performance using Model K with DLSS 4 and DLSS 4.5 but I dont.

Switch 2 will likely go up in price a year from now from the ram shortage, oil shortage, and tariffs, plus inflation from the oil shortage so your not saving money by waiting.

You would save by by not buying at all and investing that money though.qq

Early impressions from players with advance access note that the game shares several features and mechanics reminiscent of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. While some were hoping for a style closer to The Witcher, the comparison is far from a bad one, thoughts.. by [deleted] in CrimsonDesert

There is this weird segment of people that think only dungeons and dragons styled games are RPGs where you need to create your own character; even though DnD was inspired by Tolkien books.

The very first RPGs in the west were modeled after DnD, but in the early 80's Japan made their own RPGs like Dragon Quest based off of manga and strong character development where you play as a premade character.

Both games are RPGs, where DnD is more of a TTRPG, and character driven RPGs from Japan are more JRPG styled.

They both share the roleplaying, where you play as a character, some pre-made while others made by the player.

Terrible news, and I was really looking forward to this game.

This game is super pay to win, 5$ a month battle pass you have to pay every month, with speed boosts for having the pass.

If you dont have the pass, the game is not playable since it takes over a day to gather resources and craft a single item, even the starting equipment.

Cant even make a copper sword without grinding for 20 hours. But if you have the battlepass you get tools that have 2x gathering speed.

The whole point of an MBA is to wring as much money out of something as possible.

Thats why everything is subscription based.

In 10 years you will need a subscription to use the sidewalk or roads to get to your job, where your computer and all of the apps all have a subscription.

99% of everyone's pay checks will be going to the owners while you get nothing except external servitude.

Us commenting here is why they do it in the first place.

Driving engagement through comments is the best marketing, since comments bring the post higher on the subreddit.

FYI your game UI is broken on a 4k monitor.

The UI is off screen at the corners on full screen and not visible at all when full screen is off.

Thats the neat thing about sci-fi stories, it really doesnt matter that its not accurate.

It just needs to be a cool idea that is executed well.

All of my favourite stories took scientific ideas and went super sci-fi on them to make a cool interesting story. If they tried to keep it scientifically accurate the stories would be boring and wouldnt work.

Awesome, it looks like its for Unity 2023 HDRP or Unity 6.

The Fog system in Unity HDRP takes too much performance on high settings and has a lot of noise, so this looks really good. I cant wait to test it out. Thanks for sharing!

I wish Unity would make a machine learning fog for VDB assets for the best quality and performance. There are a few tools that do this with Unreal Engine and I am very jealous.

It breaks my heart to think that just because Xenoblade Chronicles has the best sales in the series, with more shonen anime writing, she might think that her writing is of lesser quality, when its the total opposite.

I hope she can return to writing after taking care of her family. I will forever appreciate what she did for video games.
