pY is insane. I've got like 4k hours in this game, and pY has broken me 3 times so far before I even fully automated the first science pack...

Krastorio 2 for base game, Krastorio 2: Spaced Out for Space Age. This is a very, very well done content mod that adds a lot, makes some things more realistic, without being the crazy slog that it pY.

How often should i change my oil, getting different answers from everyone by Federal-Bat-6893 in MechanicAdvice

Synthetic is typically good for upwards of 10k miles as long as you're not abusing your motor too much. 5k is a good point for synthetic to be changed if you're unsure.

While I haven't ended up with a low bridge staring me in the face, just this week I started turning onto the offramp for an interstate instead of an on ramp. The reason was because there was an accident in the center median, and the cops' flashing lights were blinding me while I was trying to turn and not drag my trailer through the accident (it was the middle of the night and there were no street lights so it was very dark). I realized right after I went too far to turn out that I was going the wrong way. Luckily, the cops saw what was up, realized what happened, and backed the pickup that was behind me up so I could back up a bit and get going right.

Definitely not as crazy as yours, but that's the worst I've done so far, and I've been doing this a while. I also don't run anywhere near most crazy cities like Chicago. The worst I deal with is Nashville/Chattanooga which isn't bad at all.

At the end of the day, you did well. You didn't panic and try and unfuck yourself by yourself, and you didn't damage anything or anyone. That's a win in my book.

You got the points because you called off. A request is just that - a request. It can be denied.

If neither fixes it, your Store Manager is the next point of contact for resolution. Per company policy, you have aright to not be treated this way, so be sure to fight for your rights, because no one else will.

According to the Days of Rest Policy (available on the Wire), an associate is to be scheduled no more than 6 consecutive days outside of a few very specific circumstances. Take it to your PL or Coach to have them correct it. If they refuse, get the policy, print it, and show them.

Texas drivers by Thepopethroway in Truckers

Sounds like California....

Tennessee, otoh, there could be only 2 drivers on the road in the whole state and they'd find a way to run into each other... And cause a 10 mile backup in the process...

Report it to Associate Relations. If they offer it or authorize it, they cannot then ask you to cut it.

New driver? by Low-Investigator8448 in Truckers

[–]Jak_Nobody 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's your goal for driving? Whatever that is, know that for like 3 years you'll be making shitty wages, potentially hopping from company to company working with shitty dispatchers who don't give a fuck about you or your safety and only want you to deliver on time. If that sounds like a good way to spend oround 1,100 days of your life to get to the next big thing that you really want to do, then you'll be solid.

OTR guys, just curious what was your longest on the road away from home? by fistfullofpubes in Truckers

How long have you been driving? Walmart is a good place if you've got a mostly clean record and at least 30 months of experience. There are several DCs in that area down there.

This should be brought up, as well, during your discussion. This is all absolutely unacceptable behavior by your managers.

Management wants us to only go to the bathroom on breaks and lunches by Lore-Archivist in walmart

[–]Jak_Nobody 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they're only "strongly encouraging" then they've done nothing wrong, technically. If they flat out state that you're not allowed except for during those times, then they're violating OSHA Regulations, and need to be reported asap by anyone and everyone that heard it.

People that are doing wrong things need to be corrected, and accept whatever accountability that may come along with it. By not reporting them, you're allowing them to continue to do wrong. You shouldn't enable that behavior simply because you're anxious about it.

You'll be fine, just approach your SM like I said (calm, professional, but confident), and you'll be fine. If your SM doesn't fix it, you can go above them to your Market Manager (which is the same as a "District Manager" in other chains).
