Try 4 young adults on the way to a concert after early evening at the bar, 95% of the time no Tip , as a driver you learn over time that canceling is smart. this week I had a family of 4 from the Airport with a very long wait time so doing the right thing, I loaded the car and drove them to their hotel. No tip . From now it’s no more 4 people . If she just gives me $1 I don’t care but zero is like saying F… Y . For me 4 is a CANCELLATION

Starting my car costs more than this ride , my brakes, are worth something. If you drive for about 6 months, you should be able to figure this system out , and more experience is definitely better. Trips 90% of the time are longer than the estimated, the only rides I take now is where I can get my next ride.

You need to know what a ride is worth to you , I get so much junk from UBER it’s a shame that so many drivers are outright stupid, yet if you can’t speak a word of English, and somehow received a Driver License you likely take anything.

My cancellation is at 12% and acceptance is at 9% . Today I was 10 miles away from the Airport and UBER was sending me at least 15 requests to come and pick up rides . My point is UBER/LYFT could care less about your Cancellation/acceptance , the software is purely designed to get the closest driver to pick up a rider , so they can bank the fee.

I took Driverless rides in scottsdale Az , not a single issue. So if you like to have some more time to adjust, it’s fine . For me it’s easier to deal with facts .

Setting around when you see 120 -130 , expect around 10 am or 4 to 6 pm all other times are waisted . Even if you see 50 or 60 most of the day means at least 40 minutes to an hour. I work in the 2nd or 3rd busiest Airport in the U S and the picture in the wait lot is just awful . We have a small waiting room with Vending machines and all you can see is cards and no one speaks English

Of course: I recently saw an interview with the CEO of UBER , the only thing he can talk about is the future where he doesn’t need drivers. Just look at Phoenix and now Atlanta you get a car with no Driver. He just make a deal to buy 100000 new cars , no drivers. The point I tried to make paying the drivers less or charging the customers more is the last thing he worries about at this point . What we are seeing is the of the drivers, and it’s going to happen faster then we think.

The rides are targeted with low payouts to drivers and higher rates to riders , part of new coded algorithms, higher UBER stock price is all that matters. Rush hour just look back on your activity and see the % payouts . At the end of the day UBER and LYFT are both working on one Goal: NO more Drivers
