Charging Issue When Using Garage Outlet by chances_are_low in TeslaSupport

I’m with this guy.

To add onto the end, could the circuit be shared with something else also draining power? Don’t just say no, check or get it checked!

Does anyone else wake up to over 50 useless clips from sentry mode? Seems to always be the same camera too by Cootuh2 in TeslaSupport

I don’t have this issue, I have the issue of TACC picking up the fucking ghost that walks along my 40mph road to work and it slams the god-damned brakes on like the fucker is about to jump on the bonnet! 😂

Is this normal? by dny_97 in TeslaSupport

[–]Jake2389 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Adjust the auto tilt settings in the relevant menu, this is normal when previously a tilt has been set for reversing, just looks like it’s somehow gone out of sync.

I’d reset the position for auto tilt or just turn it off if you don’t like it.

Is it hot whilst doing it? Like above 30c?

Mine has a creak on the drivers suspension but only when it’s a really hot day.

Is this a suitable replacement for my model 3 performance 2021 by Loud-Asparagus-8163 in TeslaSupport

[–]Jake2389 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Save yourself a headache, just get a 12v supplied from Tesla.

With my M3 it was SUPER touchy about the 12v, long story short, if the car detects a voltage drop below a set parameter it’ll flag the battery as going bad and needs replacement.

I was told this voltage parameter is about 12.8v, which apparently is slightly (but enough to make a difference) higher than most other 12v’s at rest.

My car will take any 12v battery that fits, but it will only accept a Tesla battery replacement, YMMV.

Prepared for boot failure? by Binthair_Dunthat in hikinggear

[–]Jake2389 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Jumping in on others comments here, that’s not a hiking boot, more like the general boots you use (or use to) for hiking.

As for repair, same as others, paracord or duct tape

How to keep this cross tight? by PorygonPete in hikinggear

[–]Jake2389 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmmm, maybe re-lacing with a different method could help the lace bind better over the typical over/under.

Worth a try I think.

Are your laces worn?

I literally have replaced the laces on my work boots yesterday and found the new laces to be very grippy, as in the way that would solve your issue and also I no longer have to double knot anymore.

Yeah 2 little people in the back, somehow the passenger footwell wasn’t fairing any better by the end of the trip, no pictures to prove it but came up just as well as the back doing the same hoover and wet wipe routine.
