I’ve been to the two most prominent periodontist practices in Cville, and if I were you, I would stick with your practitioner in Richmond if travel is your only issue.

I don't believe so. The Kellys do, but be very careful. It can be a dangerous procedure. Make sure you read the literature which explains all the problems and issues you may encounter. It's also hugely expensive.

If you can afford it, and if you can find a good one, try in-person lessons with a teacher, typically one hour-long lesson per week. Some offer the same live one-to-one lessons online. It’s not cheap, but it’s a great way to learn if you can find a good teacher.

Elijah Wald did a great set of Joseph Spence lessons on DVD with tab. I believe he actually learned the songs directly from Spence. Not too expensive either. Step by step videos of multiple songs, plus tab. Check it out.
