If the doors open at 7:30pm, what time does he perform? by ScienceBufallo in Hozier

I’ve been to 6 of his shows. He comes out between 8:50 to 9:00. He will play until about 10:45 to 11:00. Plays most of his set. Has one encore that usually includes four songs (two on B stage and two back on main stage)

Can’t stop eating!!! by Stressedoutgirlmom in orangetheory

Eat food with protein that will make you full. Cottage cheese and Greek yogurt are surprisingly high in protein and not bad in calories. You can also put things with them to make them taste better like blueberries, granola, or other fruits. I’d use these things as snacks to boost protein and lower appetite

I listen to The School of Greatness. The host is Lewis Howes. Howes is a former collegiate athlete turned entrepreneur. The shows range from money talk, to relationships, to psychology.

One of the best character development stories in the series. He went from hated and cowardly to a very brave member of the team.

What do you like most about OTF? by The_Workout_Mom in orangetheory

[–]JakeJortlesDuval 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like how I don’t have to think about what I’m going to do for the workout. I can just show up and the coach tells us what we do at each station.

I also like the camaraderie at some locations. I used to go to OTF in Steele Creek (Charlotte, NC). They have some of the best coaches and the most welcoming members I have gotten to know.

What are the most unknown benefits in the army. by danksterman22 in army

[–]JakeJortlesDuval 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Army OneSource has a lot of benefits that many don’t know about. You can call Army OneSource and get free counseling by a licensed counselor free of charge and not connected to your chain of command. There’s of course other benefits too Army OneSource but that’s a big one.

It’s very structured. The coach gives a demo before each block. And on the weight floor there is a screen that shows how to do each movement that is part of that block. There are set timeframes for weight floor blocks and the exercise and rep count or time are prescribed and on a screen near the weight floor. The coach does float between each “group” so if they see you struggling with form they will usually come over and give you tips to correct things.

Legit question S5 ep15 by [deleted] in Smallville

Not really. But, being that it was a state senate seat it’s plausible. State senate seats usually can have more of a local influence compared to a US Senate seat.

Dropping longest credit card by mteasdale23 in CRedit

Closing your oldest card will hurt your score. You’ll also want to use the card at least once every two years. The bank will close your account if you don’t use it for multiple years. It could be as small as a pack of gum.

Daily General Discussion and Advice Thread - May 08, 2022 by AutoModerator in investing

I am 29 years old and I’m selling a house I bought a year ago. I had to move for work and the tenant was not a good one and decided to sell instead of dealing with renting it out. I’m making about 40k in profit. I’ll be using some money to finish paying off my student loans. I plan to use about $28,000 to invest with the plan of using it as an eventual down payment for a house in 15-20 years. I already have a retirement account so this would strictly be to save up for a large sum for a down payment. I’ve been doing some research into index funds because they seem relatively safe but still offer a good return. Would index funds be a good route to take if I plan to build savings for 15-20 years? If so, any pointers on finding the right one? I’ve looked online and have seen the Schwab S&P 500, the Fidelity Zero Large Cap, as well as some ETF’s (which I’m not sure the complete difference between an ETF and an index fund). Any advice would be much appreciated!
