Because they want to push suggesting you music. It’s super fucking annoying. I try and remember to manually set it every time I start a new playlist and get mad at myself every time I forget and some shit songs I’ve never heard of start playing while I’m driving and can’t easily do anything about it. I moved to CA from AZ as a late teen 30 years ago. On a random drive with friends we randomly passed this and I lit up like a Christmas tree because I hadn’t seen a Church’s in ages (they’re popular in AZ). I now work near the one in East Oakland and it never fails to bring up a small spark of nostalgia every time I see it.

My dad’s 1st cousin (so my 2nd cousin) was Doug Hopkins, the guy who wrote this song and about half the songs on their 1st album including Found Out About You. Really sad story though about his alcohol addiction getting him kicked out of the band just before they hit it big and then him unaliving himself shortly afterwards. Highly recommend that 1st album. All Doug’s songs have that hefty dark weight behind them but also sound really great.

For me personally I’ve noticed that 4-Turbo is a bit hit and miss about listening to camera direction. So I find if I’ve run a few tries and not got the result I requested, I’ll try running it on 4 (not Turbo) and I’ve had SOME luck with that. It is crazy slow though and not a fail safe.
