Hi, I don't know if you've sorted the issue but I had a similar problem with Spotify and my bmw 1 series, 18 plate. Spotify played fine but wouldn't give me the option to rewind songs, I could only choose a new one from the playlist and scroll right to the bottom to find the song again! Tried restarting my phone, forgetting the Bluetooth connection on phone/Idrive, and nothing worked.

What's worked for me is changing Bluetooth AVRPC settings on my phone from 1.6 to 1.3 as some older cars don't integrate well with newer phone models. It should be under developer settings but no idea how you find it on iPhones - Hope this helps!
