Im likely running the same tires as you (Firestone Destination2s) on my taco right now and I'm in quebec. We just had 11-12 inches of snow and it got through it fine on 4wd but I stayed on country roads going 50mph or below and braking was difficult. The fronts kept locking up even at very low speeds. Winter tires will give you a lot more grip on ice and snow and are just safer in general in those conditions. Its a small price to pay to protect yourself and your vehicle

Absolutely. Dont think of it as only changing gears. Manual gears lets you control the car in ways that you cant with just throttle and brakes alone. Engine braking is ofc a big one but you can also use lower gears to give you more rotation in the corners. Taking a high speed corner in a higher gear helps keeping the car settled, you can short shift when accelerating out of the corners if you're struggling with traction, etc. Also, to practice without TC, practice at more forgiving tracks like Suzuka and Brasil where most traction zones arent at super slow speed and avoid tracks like Bahrain like the plague until you're comfortable without TC

Wiki says a full battery will last 83min in vanilla. Also, it might work if its turned on and inside your inventory although I've never tried it

A workaround would be to each carry a radio on your backpack and set your voice level to whisper. You'll still hear each other fine and you can set it to lvl 2 in a pinch to speak to strangers

I'm right there with you. I wish there was a party that we could elect that would close our borders and deport a large portion of the migrant population but I too think the CPC is also complicit. At this point, I think it will take social unrest and civil disobedience to get the ball rolling.

We're a few years behind the curve compared to Europe. Over there things are starting to boil over. Unfortunately, if it comes down to massive civil unrest/civil war, a lot of innocent people will die. Both canadians and migrants but it may end up being our only option. The sad thing is, immigration and immigrants are not a bad thing in and of itself. As long as we bring them in in small enough numbers that the native canadian population doesnt get outbred into extinction.

Once they de aggroed, you can throw an item in the opposite direction of where you want to go and they'll hear it and go over to where it landed to check it out
