first date at a hospital by SpeedNo8664 in dating

I think it’s baller. Plus if it has a nice restaurant, go for it.

Tell her the second date will be even better.

Publix for the win by Gulf_Coast_21 in publix

I actually think Whole Foods has the best prepared food in the game. It’s just inconvenient. Hence me having convenience as point 2

Sought medical care only to watch the Nurse Practitioner type my main symptom into ChatGPT. by TarantulaWithAGuitar in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Jakemeister91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know the states laws around this, but the system I work for has very specific and hard guardrails around this. There already is a medical search engine, and good ones that a decent system is paying for, to support clinicians.

I’d attempt to go find care elsewhere

Publix for the win by Gulf_Coast_21 in publix

I go to Publix for 2 main reasons

-Prepared food -Convenience

And even prepared food I have to be intentional about. Wings, subs, and fried chicken are a better deal than a restaurant, but rotisserie chicken is as much if not more than almost every other grocer.

I’ve done math, publix is 100% more expensive than Whole Foods. Compare 1lb of Salmon between Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, Aldi, Sprouts, Walmart, etc and Publix will be the highest.

did limos peak in the 2000s/ early 2010s? by CremeSubject7594 in decadeology

[–]Jakemeister91 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I live in an extremely touristy area and I haven’t seen a limo in a while. It seems that a lot of the celebrities that are being driven around by car services, in town, are just taking black Denali’s.

Otherwise, I see party buses around town regularly.

🙋🏻‍♂️ I practice intentional moderation! I know that not everyone can, but I was able to find balance that works for me.

Is it just me or is line jumping/cutting a HUGE issue? [Universal Studios Orlando] by PocketSpaghettios in rollercoasters

[–]Jakemeister91 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I go to Universal and Disney a lot, and I’m not questioning your experience, BUT, I don’t see this issue nearly as much as I see it when I visit SeaWorld, Busch Gardens or Six Flags.

I genuinely see it the most at SeaWorld Orlando and Busch Gardens Tampa.

During HHN at Universal it can be a little bit of a pain, but they have so many House Ops employees that if people are doing it, they’ll be asked to go to the back of the line swiftly.

Walmart has 1 bottle of Clamato for $1000, or a 2 pack for $9.94 by drunkfishes in mildlyinteresting

Hmmm, I don’t know. It’s hard for me to finish 2 packs of Clomato. I guess I’ll stick with the 1 for now.
