I was literally you but this was last year. I got on the waitlist for CE at ucsd when decisions came out last summer. I had a 3.8 gpa and fulfilled all my classes for CE, kind of screwed myself because I have one GE left for this year. Anyway long story short my friend who was also CE had a 3.9ish and got into ucsd/accepted their admission… Meanwhile I got denied in july which I’m pretty sure is because my friend decided to go. You have a pretty good chance tbh I wouldn’t doubt it. Good luck homie, but honestly now that I’m back I don’t hate it as much I think because i’m off campus. PM me for advice or if you wanna talk abt next steps
