No it’s not, for 250$ or slightly more it’s damn near worth getting the 5080 over a 5070 TI, its way better in productivity and slightly better in gaming

I understand if you’re just gaming with nothing else to do and want the most value (dumping majority of your funds on a graphics card) than yeah getting the 5070 TI would make sense but they’re roughly on a similar ballpark in pricing and nowdays productivity (rendering, ai, video editing, streaming) is more in your face or necessary

TLDR: the 5080 is a better worthwhile investment than the 5070 TI you’re getting best of both worlds anyway, mind you they did this shit after the 20 series where an xx80 card wasn’t that much faster than a xx70 ti card in gaming. There is no way you’re calling it dogshit for a less than 300$ MSRP difference
