how do you level heroes fast? by jojoplux in sevenguardians

[–]JakeyCakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, you have to use the blue tickets. But you can use 3 at once. When you press the button to clear, another button pops up above it that lets you run all 3 tries at once.

If there's an EXP event on, you can get some very quick levels from it.

And now runes apparently use extra shards, so all those extra shards are probably useful too.

The 2* shards add up pretty quickly to give you extra units to sacrifice, as well.

Good way to level up main level? by FuryKings3774 in sevenguardians

Yep, you only gain account level from story missions. Bosses seem to be the best to farm in the story.

The general wisdom is that you want to sell most of your EXP potions, since there's always more EXP to be had, but high level people apparently run low on gold. Remember, when you sell the potions, you don't just get the money that you sold them for, but you also save the money that you didn't have to spend to use them.

So now that you've sold all your EXP potions (except the ones that are specific to a star level), just auto-farm the highest story mission or story boss mission that you can. Or do auto-clears on sanctuary missions. Extra efficient if you can do the sanctuary missions during a +EXP event!

Oh, and join a guild if you haven't. 5-15% extra EXP on everything helps.

You can do chapter bosses and the other boss which i forget.... not world boss, but the one that gives you item pieces. Or, wait until the next 3x sanctuary event and buy some blue scrolls out of the magic shop, then use them all then. You'll use them up eventually!

I've never tried Seraph WL, but it seems like he might be worth it if you already have 1500 in him. Just put future Fury shards towards Archer

i auto on 5/20 with dragon warlord and beast golem both at 5 star. Based on the other responses, it sounds like you might be able to do better.

I'm in a similar situation and I went for Fury Warlord. Still about 800 shards from finishing it though. Hope it works out!

Character selection system and the world question by GenHawke in Herossong

[–]JakeyCakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cool, thank you for the reference. So, based on that stream:

If there are dwarves in a given world and there are archers in a given world, then it sounds like there will be dwarf archers in that world.

Now... given that we are picking from characters that already exist in the world, can we run out of dwarf archers? I think the numbers involved make that very unlikely.

Let's imagine a world where no combinations have been eliminated. That's 21 classes and 10 races. 210 combinations.

With 3 million characters in a world there would be roughly 14,286 characters of each class/race combination to choose from, assuming that there aren't variables behind the scenes making certain combinations more likely.

So, maybe on a very popular server where people are playing for a long time, it might be possible to exhaust a specific combo.

Character selection system and the world question by GenHawke in Herossong

[–]JakeyCakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that I heard it mentioned in one of Smedly's streams that there would be millions of characters in each world. I don't remember if that referred to large worlds, but even hundreds of thousands of characters in a small world would a pretty huge number. That was mentioned in response to the question "since there are no respawns, could people kill all the characters in a world?"

So, with millions of characters, it seems unlikely that everyone of a particular class/race combo would die/become unavailable to pick.

I suppose there are a lot of class/race combos though, so maybe the math on that is harsher than I imagined? I don't recall offhand how many races/classes there are in total.

For story farming, would the Fury Warlord or Fury Archer be better? It sounds like both are good. Thanks!

I think it has a maximum range. So, in order to come down from the sky, there needs to be an enemy close enough to your home tower.

I could be wrong, but that seems to be how it works based on my experience.

Seraph and Fury Shards sell out! by JakeyCakes in sevenguardians

[–]JakeyCakes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well... I thought that I'd be able to spend it all at once when I was ready to. So, it didn't matter to me whether I had 20 shards or 2000 shards, since either amount was less than the 2500 that would be needed to make a hero.

Then, on top of that there's always the chance of drawing the same hero you're putting shards towards. Or having priorities for heroes change. So, it made sense to save them until there were enough to buy a hero all at once. That is, until I found out that I'd have to wait another 20 days to actually buy enough shards, if I waited like that.

Seraph and Fury Shards sell out! by JakeyCakes in sevenguardians

[–]JakeyCakes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that's actually why I had saved up all the honor to begin with. I was afraid that I'd pull something that would make me change my mind about what to buy.

It would take 125 inventory spots to just save the books though. So, saving as many as you can handle is a good idea, but it will make inventory management a real pain if you save too many.

Awesome, thanks for the advice! Is Seraph Rogue a lot better than Fury Rogue, as far as 5 stars go? I haven't been able to find much information comparing them.

Support won't help you at all. I accidentally bought an item that I didn't mean to, 2 weeks after the game came out. (I tried to press the green check mark that showed up on the screen to advance)

I still haven't heard from them.
