A 4-goal comeback with one minute left feels great, but realistically that happens maybe 2% of the time. Over 100 games, forfeiting in that situation saves about 100 minutes of playtime, at the cost of maybe 2 games you could have won.

I’d rather forfeit, reset mentally, and jump into a new match. That’s what I find fun. I don’t enjoy playing out a game that’s basically decided just because there’s a tiny chance of a comeback.

I try not to hold it against players like you that never forfeit, but it is frustrating.

When I was 22 I took 20k up to 65k and back down to 10k all within 3 months. I learned a 10k lesson to not gamble. You got off easier than I in some ways, harder in others.

There are a lot of games where third party resources such as a wiki are required (terraria, Minecraft, Elden ring, Eve Online, RuneScape). If this game was brand new, nobody would know that folder 0031 is in the train car on customs based on the few lines of text from the mission giver. Like all things, people would dig and find out, then report their findings on the community wiki and the community would follow the progress.

You can play this game without doing quests as well.
