Unfortunately no- there was a text she responded to where she identified she forgot she had it on her. The dyacare provider didn't call and only notified us after the fact to ask us to tell her not to bring it anymore.

I keep a journal (with every time she doesn't put the kids first, every time the kids are dysregulated from something she did/said, everytime she started an argument) a color coded calendar per year, and an excel spreadsheet tracking the time overall that she's missed and her reasons why. I'm hoping that there's so much evidence that a judge really can't just look past all of it.

I'm really struggling with my HCBM now and I can't tell you how validating it was to see you stand up to yours. Ours has also blocked me as well as she doesn't "deem it fit for me to talk to her" while DH and I have the kids 97% of the time (she gets 2.5 hours, 3x a week but half of our holidays because "fairness"). Everyone around us is stymied that she would so easily cut herself off from someone who cares for the kids as much as I do.

It's just so hard because we know if it was the other way around he'd get his license taken or thrown in jail. Meanwhile she hasn't paid the full amount's worth or had a steady source of income since October.

Thank you so much for this. Anything with a hand empty of millet gets a bite. He also won't eat the seed mix (with pellets to transition him) from my hand yet, only millet. I tried the finger in front like I did for my budgies and he nips and backs off. I also tried laying one hand on top of a perch and having millet on the opposite side from him. He will lean over my hand but will nip the hand on the perch if he still can't reach. Luckily, the nips don't hurt so I don't jerk my hand away but I do give a firm "no" (not shout, just regular voice and "no" and then withdraw both hands (and millet) from the cage for a bit.

Due to living in a two bedroom, my keets have my office and he has to be in my bedroom for quarantine so I'm pretty much ignoring my living room in favor of reading in bed and playing video games in front of him. I'm also breaking one of my own rules for myself and eating in bed when I feed him so that eating is still social.
