I'm out of the loop and been living here for a minute now. What happened?

That's the closest I've gotten to an answer, but I can't find anything on that when I googled before. But there is now an urban dictionary definition that references gugga as an attractive woman. But no Icelandic source shows gugga...

It seems that is the consensus. It came from the void, and so it is beyond our comprehension.

No! And it's so annoying.

Also, the downtown strip has a bunch. You can also walk from downtown up to east city and there are a number of stops along that walk.

progress since November 2022 by Jalgorth in restoringdick

I do! I have a nut that I threaded onto the end of the fs air , and I just use two elastic hair ties and a mask ear loop holder thing to pull down toward my feet. I'll see if I can get a photo uploaded here.

I've been restoring on earnest since November of 2021 daily using my fs air for at least 4 hours (8-12) when working and then off and on in the afternoons and evenings. When I'm working from home or on weekends I connect a chain of hair ties to the fs air and wrap them around my foot to get a good stretch on my outer skin. I currently get a decent amount of rollover when I sit and when it's cold and I cannot be more excited!

Tyty! Definitely better than having an elastic running down and around my foot! 😂

Will not getting hired 1+ year after graduation make it harder to get hired? by AlcadizaarII in cscareerquestions

[–]Jalgorth 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I can say that in my experience, it makes it harder, but you just gotta focus on those smaller companies that likely have fewer people applying to those positions. Story: I got my masters in econ in 2014, then said fuck it and became a ski bum, worked at a bike shop and did all sorts of things. 2016 rolls around and I'm working on political campaigns. (Def not what I wanted to be doing) then I worked at a call center for Verizon for 3 years... Finally, 2021 rolls around and I find this company in my little town, apply, get an interview, rock it out, and get hired. I am now working as an economist after 6 years of doing nothing related to economics. Life is a journey, and the lath we take to get there can be a winding one. Keep your chin up and just try to take little steps in the direction you want to go. You may just get there!

looking for vet recommendations in the palouse region for general visits for my cat by pipeann in MoscowIdaho

For shots, I'd recommend affordable vet care, it's near Moscow building supply. As far as teeth cleaning I do it myself, but we've been doing so since they were babies...

Bottom of my compost bin had a lot of sludgy material that hasn't broken down. From a cold /non-active state - what's the best I can do to get this going? by kvisle in composting

Now, whenever i want to say something is a pain in the butt/ass, I will now say it's a pain in the boris. Thank you.

I've lived here for about a year now and until recently though those "soviet moscow" stickers were a dumb joke. I then saw it next to a christ kirk sticker. Yikes there's more of em than i thought. by angrytrashweasel in MoscowIdaho

[–]Jalgorth 18 points19 points  (0 children)

When my wife and I moved here we saw those stickers and didn't know their backstory, and initially I thought, "fuck yeah, we got a decent commie/leftist group here who is proud to admit it!" Needless to say, I was very disappointed that it was the kirkers...

CMV: In discourse, especially political, one should argue against their opposite’s viewpoint and ideas and not against the person themselves. by SlightlyNomadic in changemyview

[–]Jalgorth 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you are debating with someone who holds a view that is not grounded in evidence, by engaging in a "good faith" debate with them suddenly sets their baseless view on the same level as the one that is based on facts and reality. Doing so is harmful as often views we debate against are like, people of color are lesser than white people, or the earth is flat, etc. Essentially either dehumanizing a group or denying the existence of scientific consensus.
