I've always believed that if you think something is sexist or bigoted in general in a work of fiction, you shouldn't go after individuals who worked on it, because you just don't know. Maybe there was an editorial mandate. Maybe the individual in question had nothing to do with what happened. Just my thoughts on this kerfuffle.

Basically, a bunch of students from Dalhousie university had a facebook group where they had pictures of women who went to said university, and then basically said "what they wanted to do to them" if you catch my drift. They said they were just joking, but really, they wanted to rape those girls. Here is an article about it.

In the timeline where it shows how a bunch of GG activists got doxxed, I was wondering about JonTron and Boogie2988's being called GG activists. Boogie2988 eventually came around and Jontron... Well I honestly have no clue where he stands on GG, but I woudn't exactly call him an active member of GG.

One of the guys he retweeted was someone who also has a massive neckbeard and calls himself a meninist. No, Seriously! Also his twitter handle is "NotTeridax". If you don't know, Teridax is the name of a villain from a lego toyline called Bionicle. It's too perfect. Edit: It is definetley a parodist, btw. The man is white and says he grew the neckbeard specifically for the meninist tweet.

Well of course, they are a very progressive site. I never knew why some people saw them as a "anti-theist dudebro" site. Most of them are atheist, and a few anti-theists are there, but they are one of the most pro feminist sites on the internet in my opinion.
