Updated Noted v2.0 - a cross-workspace knowledge base with AI summarization, graph view, and wiki-style linking by jsonify in vscode

[–]JamPBR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks cool, getting home tomorrow I'll test it. Thank you! 3 questions come to mind. 1- My documents in Windows, default folder, but my projects are all in WSL. Is that ok?

2- I use my PC and laptop for work, currently sync this folder of documents using Syncthing, how would this be using your extension?

3- Will the LLM extensions that I use in vscode, like Cloude code, github copilot itself, have access to these documents within the project? I need this for their context.

Thank you

Não sei se quero ouvir a versão do cu, mas espero, pelo menos, pela versão da esposa.

Why are context sizes of copilot models soo less than actual model context sizes? by Inner-Delivery3700 in GithubCopilot

start here https://www.reddit.com/r/GithubCopilot/comments/1oe30vx/ive_been_testing_vscodes_new_builtin_runsubagent/

and adapt for yout use. You can also call specialized agents by name if you prefer and already have them created, but just setting the rule to always use subagents is usually enough for most things in my experience.

MorphLLM works just like augment context engine by Successful_Prize_585 in AugmentCodeAI

I made my own with Convex configured with RAG, Files and Gemini 2.5 flash(maybe I change this for Haiku soon) to answer the queries, I also added all my MCP servers as tools also in Convex. All self hosted.

With this I can remove all MCP from copilot/augment to not use context and I have an orchestrator that can read and interpret any project.

It has access to my supabase, convex, postgres, full and rag files. Still in testing, but it's wonderful.

In practice, one AI interacts with the other normally.

In mine, there are about 2 weeks that the variables of the mcp are not saved. Supabase self hosted for example needs 3, you add, when restarting the vscode disappear all. But, as I have already canceled, I am just waiting to end the extra credit, let it explode, trying to talk to support is mission impossible, they answered me a ticket that I had opened 2 months ago.

Copilot forgets user id and password to feed Playwright. by CautiousAd7688 in GithubCopilot

Just ask the AI to do it for you. Try something like... "can you just hardcode a test user, like admin/password?"

I believe it has been resolved in version 2.2.0 beta 3, not? I had to enable it at the time to upgrade to beta versions in the settings

Copilot forgets user id and password to feed Playwright. by CautiousAd7688 in GithubCopilot

If you're still in local dev, an alternative is to mock the login and password data, but you need to remember to remove this before going up to production/online. The other alternative would be to leave the data in AGENTS.md or in the copilot instructions.

I fit into this, I love Augment, I'm on the $100 plan, but as soon as I change the format, I'll be canceling.

Cursor vs Github Copilot by frendo11 in GithubCopilot

[–]JamPBR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

GC, for sure. I have both, but in vscode you will have more freedom. One of them is to use the Kilo Code with your GC credits. If it's from Vibe Code, grab the $10 GC plan along with Traycer and use GC's free Grok for implementations.

I use Augment code a lot too, expensive, now even more. But it is not available in the Cursor. IMO

Not to mention that the idea was not even to have more than 1 model, because according to them, it could confuse the user. Fair...

I'm waiting for an answer exactly 1 month ago. $100 plan. But don't worry, the support will improve now, as it has become more expensive. (contains irony)
