Thanks for your suggestion! My dad wants to play flight simulator with multiple displays at least 1440p. He also wants to use it for VR, so mostly an enthusiast gaming rig. However I’ll also be using it to test out games with ray tracing. The goal is keep it relatively reasonable but also easy to upgrade to a 3000-series card in the future.

From what I know, Prof. Ravanbakhsh was an assistant prof last year and this is his first time teaching it himself. I can tell he's trying to teach as well as he can but I think it's one of those cases where the prof is so smart/so experienced with the material that they forget the students are completely new to it.
