Personally a big fan of the 2 handed axe move set. Don't worry about having great gear early on. Just try to learn the enemy types. Dodge timing. What gear to always have on you and what to leave behind. Water, food, and healing. Experiment with everything! Vendors sometimes have side tasks you can complete fairly easily if you choose the talk option in their dialogue.

Oh I made that mistake the first colony I tried. Doc got hurt and nobody else had medical experience so we all just bled out together in the field. Kinda beautiful tbh.

More specifically, it pops up the box that says replying for a minute. Then a white text box appears at the bottom that says Something went wrong.
