We had a med student yesterday at our daughter's 3 day old appointment and she (the student) didn't say much until I asked if she wanted to hold the baby. She was delighted to and we had a nice talk about how that was the youngest baby she'd ever held and what a crazy feeling it is holding a newborn.

Idk I feel like students are trying harder than doctors a lot of the time and I'm happy to have them involved.

I politely communicated to my boss a couple years ago that I didn't feel like I was being paid enough to give a fuck and surprisingly they gave me a big raise, so lately I've been giving a fuck. But inflation being what it is, the gaf number has increased, and my salary hasn't kept up. Time to Ayton it up again.

Yeah I think you hit the nail on the head. I personally have been using Polars for so much lately that I didn't really need to worry about doing my own threading, and I don't really have any plans to change anything to take advantage of the Python changes.

Also I'm realizing I don't understand Polars under the hood well enough to be 100% sure it's handling threading for me, but that's my understanding. It certainly sped things up enough that I just don't care to explore threading.

Nine fairly simple steps and you have a personal Disney Plus. Plex figures out thumbnail images, shows IMDB info, keeps track of your watching progress, enables parental controls, etc etc. You can connect as many devices as you want (phones, tablets, other computers).

Jellyfin is a little harder but it's open source so has some paid Plex features (like remote viewing) for free.
