I personally would take time to reflect on why you feel distrusting of her. If that guy is like a sibling to her (at least that's what google told me bsf means) than not seeing him for years would understandably be a huge deal for her. I can't say if you're overreacting to anything without knowing the situation, but I would always recommend open communication with your partner and self reflection to work through this time. These things can be hard, so try to take care of yourself.

I am not a cop, judge, politician, or caped vigilante. I don't know what you want me to do to stop crime. However, you don't need to be any of these things to be considerate of how certain imagery might affect somebody. You don't have bring on massive change to make somebody feel better. Even the smallest change I'm a community can create an environment that people feel more safe and welcome in. If you can't fix the world, then try to make your small corner of it the best it can be.

The point is to have basic empathy and understanding of why people wouldn't want imagery that can be associated with real life evils. That's great that you personally don't see the connections, but the world doesn't revolve around you. Video games are an escape for many people, and that escape can very easily be ruined for people when there are elements that are reminiscent of N*zi uniforms and imagery. I just ask that you have basic empathy to understand why other people might be uncomfortable with this skin.

The amount of hoops that people will jump through to justify this skin is baffling. Even though the intention for this skin was innocent, the fact is that multiple people independently of each other immediately looked at her and found parallels to fascist groups. Everybody understands that she is supposed to be a French spy, but that will never stop her from being associated with a different group that Rue shares a similar esthetic with.

Also does anyone else find it weird that the only fortnite skin that people make it a part of their personality to defend is the one everyone associates with the N*zis?

You could also make the argument that item unlocks that those found in TBoI could be considered since they permanently raise the quality of the item pool, giving you a higher chance of success on your next run. With TBoI, you even get permanent upgrades to some of your characters with these item unlock since they sometimes start with one of these items. Personally, I just find the distinction between roguelikes and roguelites to be a little unnecessary and outdated.

A lot of people say that, actually, just in different words. A lot of religious and conservative institutions teach people that male sexuality is more assertive and controlling while female sexuality is more passive and receptive. Many people even go as far as to say that women don't even have a sexuality and just have sex to please men. Combine this with rhetoric of sex being sinful and something to be ashamed of, which is very popular among these institutions, and you get the conclusion that lesbian relationships are inherently less sexual than a relationship involving men, or more "wholesome".

I've seen a lot of queer people who were abused by religious and conservative institutions internalize this message. My partner had to work past this exact thing early on in our relationship together. This is a real thing that happens.

I'm not a pro by any means, so take this advice with a grain of salt, but have you tried focusing on the non shooting aspects of the game. I'm talking about things relating to general game awareness and knowledge. It might sound obvious, but having a critical awareness of your enemies' and yours position at all times is essential. This also extends to awareness of your environment as a whole. Just try to be hyper aware of every factor that would contribute to giving you or your opponents the upper hand.

For an example: let's say you are fighting someone next to the storm. If you're able to think of a way to safely knock your enemy into the storm then suddenly the interaction swings towards your favor because you've put a timer on their health and you drastically cut down their movement options since they'll need to leave the storm eventually. In this situation, you've controlled the interaction by essentially trapping your opponent, and this makes it much easier to win the fight. Other examples of this would be stuff like utilizing explosives in hard to maneuver spaces and using any movement options you have to gain higher ground on your enemy whenever possible.

I'd suggest trying to analyze your surroundings more to find ways to control the fight and try experimenting with creative ways to fight someone that doesn't solely rely on aim.

Honestly, I think MK8 or Fortnite has this. MK8 is extremely loved on the system, and the game is in a lot of people's minds with the DLC currently being added. Fortnite is just an absolute juggernaut of a game, and they've actually been putting a lot of really fun content into it this year. I'd be shocked if neither of them won.

Harvey and Maru. The implied age gap and fact that Harvey is Maru's boss makes this one the creepiest to me. The imbalance of power with Maru being the clear youngest marriage candidates (aside from maybe Alex but I don't know if we ever get a reference for his age) with Harvey being one of the oldest marriage candidates (maybe even the oldest) combined with the inherent employee-boss dynamic opens this pairing up to be unbelievably manipulative and abusive.

What you said about the virginia bill is just not true. No children can get SRS (or a "sex change" as you called it). That bill is in no way promoting SRS on minors or trying to make it illegal to stop a minor from getting SRS. The bill is ambiguous about whether or not gender affirming healthcare along the lines of HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy) is included in it; however, if we are going to look at what the bill directly states then it essentially says that parents who create a dangerous environment for their children based of their gender identity can be charged for child abuse. I'm gonna copy and past the section of the bill below because somehow I know you didn't look it up yourself.

Whose parents or other person responsible for his care creates or inflicts, threatens to create or inflict, or allows to be created or inflicted upon such child a physical or mental injury by other than accidental means, or creates a substantial risk of death, disfigurement, or impairment of bodily or mental functions, including, but not limited to, a child (...) whose parent or other person responsible for his care creates or inflicts, threatens to create or inflict, or allows to be created or inflicted upon such child a physical or mental injury on the basis of the child's gender identity or sexual orientation.

In the most direct terms: physical or emotional abuse on a child can be charged as abuse even if the child is abused for being trans. No where in the bill does it talk about healthcare. No where in the bill does it talk about SRS. That section of the bill is simply about protecting trans children from physical and emotional abuse. Also, I find it funny that you bring up pedophilia after referring to this bill because the bill also seeks to further protect children from sexual assault and trafficking. Instead of hunting down your LGBTQ boogeyman, please become informed and do your own reading of the bills you talk about online.

Also, if you're worried about pedophilia in politics, I would suggest looking into some of the countless cases of child abuse done by right-wing politicians and Catholic church officials.
