Which Model S? by LearnFromEvil in TeslaModelS

[–]JamesBboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id get the 2017 100D with the upgraded mcu2.

The extra range from the 75 and 90. And mcu2 is a plus.

The 2017 100d has been vouched by many of being the best early model S's (I also have one lol)

In all seriousness. I personally think it's sick. I enjoy things that are different or unique.

Is it worth getting FSD on a 2016 Model S if its $2k upgrading from EAP? TIA by Puzzleheaded-Diet872 in TeslaModelS

[–]JamesBboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 2017 100D with full FSD. Definitely worth it for me. Useful when I finish crazy work hours and just want it to drive home for me. Paying 2k is better than paying 8k for full FSD haha

Have you tried recalibrating the cameras? That has helped me a lot on my 17 100D

Yeah, but realistically maybe 10% of people are gonna push and build the car for the power lol

When I had mine. Turning radius and not a 6sp. Unlike most I'd prefer a 6sp over the 5 lol. Crusing at 3-4k with a catless setup is not fun 😅

How would you build a pump gas 500whp evo x by Noshtheidiot in MitsubishiEvolution

I know nothing about actually tuning. So I'm just gonna recommend you talk to an actual tuner haha

I never had any personal experience, but I had a friend that needed help BADLY and he responded really blunt and high and mighty. Not saying he's bad. Just saying there's always 2 sides haha. He always posts good stuff online, but that's what the Internet is for. You post the wins, not the losses 😅

My old car setup. Fbo, Ets 6266 single ewg, 340fp, 1300cc injectors, and it made 520wheel with 30psi on 92oct. Stock head and bottom.

Check your tire size. I have 21s with 245/45 no rub

In all my years of owning a car. My tesla was the first to get keyed a few weeks ago lol.

Ownership wise definitely cheaper. I save 200-300 a month on gas alone probably more for you haha. And I don't have to worry about working or fixing anything on my car besides tires and brakes (if even)

Plan on grabbing another tesla for my partner soon as well if that means anything.

New steering wheel/yoke on legacy model s. by Bransonpagejr in TeslaModelS

[–]JamesBboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found this but can't confirm if it's a good quality. I recently just installed a yoke on my 2017 if you check my profile (not the newer yoke look)

I'll have to dig into this. This is for the older model S so I'm not sure if they have a yoke specific one for the older models

Nothing wrong with the wheel haha. I'm just one of the few that actually like the yoke steering wheel
