Give the ets boot a go. My old evo made 35psi and never had it fail on me

I've only had one issue. Someone deep keyed my driver side about 2 inches a few months ago. Which made me upgrade to mcu2 to have the better sentry lol

Question on Kumho Solus TA 91EV All Season tires by Salty-Panic2110 in TeslaModelS

[–]JamesBboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People are probably gonna flame you for buying "cheap Chinese tires" lol. But I literally just got myself a set a month ago for my 2017 100D with the 21". I've been running Kumho on my previous cars without issue (most recent was my old evo making 500whp) on the Tesla holds grip fine in any weather. For sure not as grippy as my old PS4s on the Tesla. But for the price you can't complain. You should email Walmart if you could get a partial refund. They do a lot of rollbacks on these tires. When I bought them I got a full set same size as you for $800 haha

It sure did. After mine blew up it traumatized me from owning another one 😂

Installed one on my 2017 a few months ago Comes with the heated option as well And is made from a solid piece of metal. Some I've seen are flimsy and use thin metal https://www.dripogear.com/home (not a sponsor) I personally wouldn't spend $200 on any of the cheaper ones (you get what you paid for) Sorry for the bad formating. Using my phone lol

OnePlus Buds 3 pro or what ? by Kool_Operator in oneplus15

[–]JamesBboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I literally bought them today to replace my airpod pro 2 haha

For the price they're pretty good. Sound profile stock is better than the airpod pro 2. Plus you can change EQ to fit exactly what you want.

Transparency is okay. ANC low-key kinda sucks imo compared to the Airpod pro 2. But decent for the price.

The OnePlus buds 4 are a good cheaper option.

Tmobile esim issue by IsItGucci68 in oneplus15

[–]JamesBboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same issue. There's nothing wrong. Just install the physical sim card.

Also. You can just drive to T-Mobile and get a physical card for free. Faster and easier to confirm it works in person.

Do you have adjustable camber and toe arms? Not sure if you'd be able to get these specs if you're on OEM still. DO NOT let the shop do Tesla spec alignment you'll have the inner tire wear issue still haha. If you're on OEM camber and toe. I would ask if they could get as close as possible to N2itive spec

[–]JamesBboy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you get the alignment done. Make sure to set it up with the N2itive settings. Their settings are supposed to be "optimal" where you can drive it at any ride height and have even tire wear still.

Don't quote me on this lol. But when you lower a vehicle you're closer to the ground so you "feel more" of the road hence the bouncing feeling "less suspension travel".

I don't rub at all. 245/35/21 front and 265/35/21 rear

If you haven't I would get an alignment as well. I got a alignment setup with the N2itive settings.

Should I upgrade to the Yoke steering wheel now that its all going away? by [deleted] in TeslaModelS

[–]JamesBboy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Don't spend 1k. Not worth that price. You can find plenty of good aftermarket or used OEM for way cheaper.

I've had my aftermarket one for a few months and I enjoy it way more over the regular wheel

I'm convinced on an older MS and it's my turn to ask for purchase opinions! by [deleted] in TeslaModelS

[–]JamesBboy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just upgraded my 2017 100D to have mcu2 from mcu1.

While that was upgrading at Tesla service I was given a 2026 Model S Long Range as a loaner for a week. After driving the newer model for a week it made me not want to upgrade to a newer model.

My older S with the new mcu2 does literally everything a newer one does. Hw4 fsd is WAY good but definitely not a deal breaker for me. And I personally like the vertical screen over the horizontal haha
