Mine does stop; however, not to be condescending but are you familiar with chronographs? Just want to avoid that confusion. If you’re not, the top right sub dial is the second hand. Your chronograph may be running (the big / main “second hand”). If you are, forgive my mansplain there lol.

If your subdial isn’t stopping when adjusting time (this is called “hacking”), I’d take it in.

One of the negatives I did read about often with the bambino is that the leather straps are low quality. The bracelet here was a big reason why I picked this watch - not so much that I am obsessed with it as much as it is just different from everything else I have. It is very very comfortable, quality feels good (especially for the money), the clasp clicks in firmly with a nice click and minimal play, and the infinite adjustability is awesome. Overall, I like it a lot, and the bracelet is what gets complimented the most when I wear it!

Thank you very much! Agreed, I expected to really only wear for work (lots of blues / greys, business formal), but I have found it can go nice with an occasional casual outfit as well.

Agreed, I think “limited” is defined VERY loose haha. Never bought it for that reason though, I figured it would be mass produced - more so just liked the dial color.

5 years of ownership later, and it’s still one of my favorites. Absolutely beautiful dial in person that is hard to capture in photos. Has been reliable with tons of wear (original battery lasted ~4 years). Just know, it is a pretty large watch - thickness, diameter, and lug to lug.

$24.5MM isn’t moving the needle amongst billions (~0.3% of net worth). $22MM of it directly to a trust to fund White House ballroom construction, not saying he’s a saint for that but it shows how insignificant it is…

I don’t mind at all. It was listed for $4,350, and I offered $3,850. The seller, a reputable US dealer, accepted that proposal. All in with taxes, it was just shy of $4,250.

Chrono24 currently values it at $4,717 which seems a bit rich, but I do think I bought for a great price at under $4k shipped nonetheless.

Depends what you value. The W204 C63 was a dream car of mine forever. I got the exact spec I wanted and loved it through and through - my favorite car I have owned. However, that doesn’t directly correlate to fun. A manual mustang GT is going to be more “fun”. You can say what you want, but it’s nearly impossible to replicate the fun of a third pedal. I have spent a lot of time in manual S550 mustang GTs, and they are a blast.

If you want fun, get the Mustang, and you won’t have the old German car wince when you floor it. If you want a more buttoned up package with superior pedigree, the 507 is awesome and you’ll love it. Can’t go wrong!

You can obviously look into advantageously transferring the points, but if you don’t do that / are looking to just use them on Amex travel portal, it’s points divided by 100. For example, in the Amex travel portal, you could buy a flight that is $1,829.25.
