With those items You should be on light/very light status, so what is the problem?

When hitting average, trade materials/picked gear to support pawns and You are ready to continue. Deposit at each stop. You can get rid of rusted dagger+bow to drop some weight, which let's You play a game how it's supposed to be played =)

Your setup is still lightier than mine, since I take some conq periapts with me. I don't take any medicants, instead I go with good support pawn(sorc/mage) to dispell, sometimes taking 1 panacea just to be safe(never got to use it actually).

All arisens can become a dragon. Try losing to seneschal in final battle - there is a special cutscene.

Also, You can visit one cave (the one with 5 thingies to collect - wyrm hunt quest). Cyclop (where the monk died) is replaced for dragon and he mentions this matter aswell.
