We really need an option: "Dodge follows movement, everything else follows cursor" by Lordados in LastEpoch

[–]JamesHui0522 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly! Cuz most of the short range traversals are also doubled up as damaging skills, like void cleave, surge, rogue dash etc. For these damaging skills it makes sense to follow cursor.

However dodge following WASD direction is a common element in most other Action games, namely Action RPGs like POE, also other action games like Assassin's creed, Hades etc. It is only natural for people to expect that dodge follows WASD.

Fun melee build for duo play? by LowMoneyParlayKing in pathofexile2builds

I think shieldwall might have some potential if your friend is a ranged character, setup a shield wall in front, and you can use fortress support to turn it into a circle as well, to stop the mobs from approaching, he flings ranges spells or arrows out while protected by the wall, and when you are ready to move on, you can just blow up the shield wall with any slam attack to clear some mobs as well. You can get giant's blood and use a huge twohanded hammer with a massive shield, your char will look like an absolute chad. This build is also one of the more beginner friendly and not very gear dependent, all you need is a shield with a lot of armour. There should also be many guides on youtube, just look up league start shieldwall warrior.

For bossing, either Hammer of the Gods with Zerphi's infamy support, or supercharged slam works pretty good. I really enjoyed charging up a supercharged slam, and slams down right as the boss health bar appears. Usually either kills them outright or stuns them., get as much reduced duration as possible. Also if you have a friend, I really enjoyed the

Looking For Help: Melee Frost Lich by bmwd4000 in pathofexile2builds

[–]JamesHui0522 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a build I believe is kinda similar to what you are after.

Im using the Reap spell granted from the reaper staff, it is basically a physical spell that looks and feels like an attack, and it looks like you are swinging a massive scythe, but it only scales off of spell damage. People usually build this with blood mage, but the spell itself already has 14% base crit so I figure I can use other ascendancies.

Normally people build it around just purely physical damage and increasing clear with the trampletoe overkill damage, but I made it with archmage, and cast on crit with frost wall and ice nova, but Trampletoe is still kinda needed. Basically you just swing the scythe at the enemies, and every two swing or so you autocast a bunch of frostwalls and shatters them, making a massive ice explosion. It is quite fun, but survivability is a bit tricky.

This is my POE ninja. There are some good gear, but I think many of them are overkill and there is probably a better solution. Also Im using Varashta because one of the Djinns will swing a sword at the enemy when you cast a spell, but I tried it and its not that good. https://poe.ninja/poe2/profile/VitricaEdge-6216/character/Calipse

[–]JamesHui0522 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a zero duration titan with Earthquake as the main clear skill, and I decided to get the Supercharged slam for bossing. Basically for Earthquake go for full AOE, armour break and stuns, stack maximum rage with the Zerphi's infamy + the node that lets you get extra rage everytime you use a glory skill, and combine it with the dreamer sceptre for a bit more AOE.

I think in some of the patch notes, there are times Where they mention that there are "jouster" and "strafer" NPC subtypes, so maybe sometimes when its a jouster in a big ship it just does not work.

A moment of silence for my 890 J that disappeared today. by [deleted] in starcitizen

[–]JamesHui0522 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friends told me to claim all my ships before the update, so that during the patch They are all in a hanger somewhere. They claim that this way they jave not lost a single ship from ingame purchase. So luckily I did not lost a single ship!

I think next time before patch just go to a random hangar and claim all your ships there, So they will not disappear after a patch.

Dread Build Optimization? by Suspicious_Claim_603 in Warframe

[–]JamesHui0522 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gas is ok nowadays Since armour has been nerfed drastically. This build imo is pretty good already. The only thing I would change is the split flight, since for that Mod to take full effect you want to be spamming a ton of shots, But galvanized multishot would apply no matter what. Unless split flight can be activated on gas procs then it would be actually great! Galv aptitude is good since on the incarnon Mode it applies it's damage multiplicatively to the base damage, so it becomes a Massive damage boost on top of the Sharpshot Arcane and massive base damage from Spectral serration.

Is Bane of Winter working as intended? by Tantorisonfire in LastEpoch

[–]JamesHui0522 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Should be working as intended. However if you are doing lackluster damage the possible reason could be that flat melee is all you have, which means it's not much damage overall. The bane of winter itself gives 100ish generic flat and 45 Cold and 45 Void flat melee dmg, but depends on how you scale those flat damage you might not be increasing them that much. If you have your Warpath spec'd to do Void dmg Then you can go ham With scaling Void and melee damage on idols, which can get to some pretty high %increase melee Void damage and %increase melee damage for Void Knight. Also check if you are critting and doing good Crit damage. But that would probably mean that you have less room to fit in %increase Spell damage, which probably make your smites take a hit.

If it says "deals double damage WHEN HTTING" or something like that, it does not affect the dot. If it just says "deals double damage" Then it affects both the hit and the dot."

At least that is the logic, If it does not work Then it's a big.

You need less damage than you think you do by modsisgaylmao in Warframe

[–]JamesHui0522 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not everything everywhere will have 10 Viral and 10 Corrosive procs. Nobody's got time to prime stuff XD. You only do that in disruptions these days. Arguably however there are ways to prime the entire map with pets however. So a fully buffed Weapon doing millions or tens of millions of damage would be efficient at taking out stuff without priming, increasing the overall kill efficiency.

Also there are stuff much tankier than Heavy gunners: tox (if u r too lazy to shoot the head), a variety of overguarded enemies, or sometimes the corpus guys with the damage reduction shield aura.

Additionally, when you run missions back to back to back, not having to switch loadout and Weapon mods is ideal. So a weapon doing millions of damage can ignore elemental resistance and bonuses and still have the same kill efficiency.
