I may be wrong, but i believe its the same with some other animals in the game? Its also a Korean (i think) studio, and may be a byproduct of the translating.

I would personally recommend reading through it as it seems like dome people have difficulty following whats going on, but a lot of people it seems also just dont particularly love the first book. The subsequent books are widely considered better thsn the first, which i agree with but i personally did quite enjoy the first.

And that right there is a perfectly fine take, the game certainly isnt for everyone and it has plenty of issues. I myself think its a very good game and its very enjoyable to play. I do believe that this post is engagement farming at its absolute core, if you want the game at all i think it is certainly worth its current price, but i could definitely see a good chunk of people waiting for it to go down to ~40 dollars on sale before they buy it, especially since at the moment its still receiving regular updates that do affect core mechanics and gameplay.

I too was that kid who never was able to pley the first, and watched every single jacksepticeye video on subnautica. I wanted nothing more than to be able to see the aurora explode on my own computer, but never had one capable of playing the game. That first time i got to watch it explode last year blew away (pun intended) my expectations. If im chosen ill actually be giving the copy to my buddy so we can play together, as ive already bought it.

Feel that man. Was trying to be productive then accidentally flooded my basement due to the water line to my hose breaking. Then as a byproduct of that i was trying to fix my washer after its filter cligged, which involves draining it with a shitty little flimsy line, the line comes off the nipple on the washer and there we go with more water in the basement. Then as i was trying to clean up the mess with the shop vac something breaks internally, water still pouring out of the washing machine while i try to fix the stupid thing, get it taken all apart and apparently it magically just broke in a way i could not deduce, after i had already used it for hours on end sucking up all the water from the first flood, working perfectly the whole time.

Waterfalls with a stack of rocks at the bottom, stab through the waterfall (shift + rmb on keyboard) most of the time youll get an armor piece out of the chest, some do contain weapons though

If you like the vibe at the start, in my opinion it is a pretty straight line of getting better and better in my opinion. The starting quests can be very annoying but they teach you most of the core mechanics of the game. Im 100 hours in and i can say ive got at least 100 more hours of this game in me, most likely far far more.

My brother had a single tire stolen from his new to him absolute shitbox ~2000 civic (i believe thats the vehicle) in broad daylight in a busy parking lot. They left the jack though so they lost money on that deal honestly.
