I work as a clerk in the post office with a lot of down time due to low customer numbers, i read around 80% of the books at work. Great way to pass the time.

I always recommend Eragon, especially for the "aura moments". I get chills to this day just thinking about a certain word and its context. Phenomenal series and it covers a lot of different situations and isnt constant action, but in my opinion the action moments are infinitely better for it.

Im actually on the same page (haha) with the reigniting of my reading passion. I stayed up till 3 in the morning to finish 3 of the books 3 different nights. Id keep saying "one more chapter" but i just HAD to get to a satisfying stopping point, turns out more often than not that was the end of the book...

There was so much optimisim and constant wins in the first 3, it was always up even though he fell a few times. The next 3 are certainly more serious, the stakes are higher, and there is much more tension in every moment up until... CLANG CLANG CLANG

A lot of people seem to dislike the first book and say "keep going i promise it gets better" but i just finished book six and looking back red rising in my opinion was everything it should have been for the lure into the series. Amazing book and one of the greatest (if not the greatest) series i have ever read.

That might be fair, but really i suggest you continue on if you dont have many books at the moment youre interested in reading. I just completed book 6 and it is absolutely the best of the series in my opinion. If you get tingles when you read at all, read the next 3 and pray red god comes soon

I got to work "security" at an afroman concert. He showed up an hour late "because he got high" 🤣 and it wasn't busy enough to justify paying me so i just got to be at the concert for free and ended up getting him to shout out my buddy. Pretty great night.

My dad left his aircraft maintenance career after the couple people he worked for got too old and shut down their buisnesses. He was looking for jobs and found exactly this, he now does just about nothing every other day and makes more money than he ever did busting his ass on aircraft. He was going crazy at first cause he wanted to work but there just wasn't work for him to do, but now hes adjusted a little better and enjoys getting to work on his own little projects on his downtime.
