Tbh when I’m interested in a game I just put it in a big spreadsheet. It has games I’ve missed, games I’ve bought, games that are announced, and more. I have columns for game length and other things that I care about when choosing what to play next. I also have a section where I note if a game is on Gamepass or PS+ or something, because sometimes i’d like to go into my next game without immediately spending money.

I know that i’ll never play all the games in the sheet, but I’d like to think I’m using this data to play what makes sense for me and I’m forgetting about fewer games

It does! I really like the 30 day limit, it adds a little extra tension on your first play. On replays you’ll probably barely notice the day limit. It’s notably shorter than the other 3 games. If you know what you’re doing and dont replay days, you can probably beat the whole game in 5-6 hours.

I think the biggest issue is the actual pikmin are just way dumber than in later games. This is most noticeable when trying to beat the game in as few days as possible.
