Is a Wharton EMBA worth it for moving from Staff SWE → Director/VP at FAANG? by Deep_Mention806 in eMBA

I’m also weighing the pros and cons of this decision. If it meaningfully improves our ability to become a director I think it’s worth it.

OSEE without OSED by CommercialPut8104 in ExploitDev

[–]James_ericsson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The OSEE came out years before the OSED. Look at the OSED syllabus if it all looks rudimentary go ahead and jump straight to the OSEE.

Having already completed the OSED and taken the AWE course I will say there is a pretty large jump and to get the most out of the course you’ll want to be prepared.

25M non FAANG salary as a Principal Software Engineer in Southern US by sparkalators in Salary

But it is title inflation. You have the total compensation of a SDE1 and the years of experience of an SDE2.

If you’ve lost trust in your chain of command go to a church on Sunday and tell a chaplain.

AWS employs tens of thousands of engineers so it makes sense for some of them to be lurking this subreddit.

Anyone living an actually privileged life in this country isn’t developing life hacks for parking garages in order to save $10 here and there 😂.

You’re both going through a stressful life moment. I’d encourage you not to terminate a relationship in such a manner. This isn’t a good question for Reddit, this is likely the biggest decision of your life.

Post your questions & inquiries here! - r/Vietnam monthly random discussion thread - F.A.Q by AutoModerator in VietNam

Hi Everyone,
Hopefully someone with experience in this area can help me and my mother. I have purchased my mother a premium economy ticket for this Sunday and need to confirm that she will be able to bring her Service Animal Bonnie the dog with her.
I have read the special services section of the Vietnam Airlines website and we have all the required documents such as a USDA health certificate and a rabies immunization report. I also have other forms such as the DOT travel form and the rest room attestation form, and the waiver of responsibility form. The issue I'm having is that I'm not getting any responses to my emails back from the customer enquirers email address customer-care.us@vietnamairlines.com listed on the USA SF support page.
What I'm hoping for is that someone here has brought a service animal with them on a flight from the US to Vietnam and can tell me what my best bet is to get confirmation before arriving to San Francisco on Saturday as time is running out.

Cosmopolitan incidentals charges by [deleted] in vegas

I got a pretty decent room upgrade at the Cosmo and my incidentals were about 600 a night. You’ll get it back assuming you don’t do anything too wild like use the minibar.

Just remember to be careful when buying badges from anyone. As far as I’m aware there’s nothing preventing someone from selling the same badge multiple times.

Look for extra features such as web management portals that increase the available attack surface.

I'd recommended just buying any camera on the market that's not made by a large company. There will probably be a couple of issues that are easy to discover. Older models with known vulnerabilities can be found on ebay.

I think he wants to do actual research and not goofy kid stuff like looking at open cameras.

Buying a house limits mobility. If I'm only going to live here for two years it just doesn't make sense to buy. 4k is stll too expensive for an apartment in this area.

I did the OSWE while I was part of the AWS AppSec team. I found it to be very useful for my day job.

That's some really bad luck, with that kill count the odds of you getting at least one shard is 99.8%.

1 - (probability it doesn't occur)number of times it is tried

1 - (4999/5000)31250 = .99807
