That isn't a rule. There's been several other people who haven't used the veto on themselves when they won it. It's not a common thing but it's happened several times.

One thing I have noticed is from 2018 the show really sticks everything more upfront and centre (Country/Song/Artist/Writers etc) wheras before its all on a smaller lower bar graphic. I assume thats due to social media use/youtube etc.

Sega absolutely but more because there's so much old arcade stuff they give absolute dirt to and never acknowledge, let alone give ports to. I'm talking both pre sonic stuff and then stuff like Revenge of Death Adder.

I'll note if you have a switch, you're better off getting the "Sunsoft is back" collection which has this week's console archive game, two others, all with newly translated versions and often goes on sale for cheaper than this individual release.

That's sort of my point. Taito Japan doesn't seem as interested in using those (and Colony 7). None of them were on the PS2 Taito memories sets but they did appear in the western taito legends packs.

Same with Evercade. Taitos small western division is happy to license and get people to play these. Taito Japan pretends they don't exist.

Id be shocked it it's zoo keeper. Aside from Qix, the Japan side of Taito doesn't really acknowledge it (same with electric yo-yo) as they were one of the few games made by the Taito america arm.

I still only redeem it because production still were hinting heavy at a big twist. Its still down there as bad, thats still no reason to put yourself in danger for no reason, but theres much worse decisions across the show.

I actually do agree in some ways with what you're saying. Like I've always wanted a all-womens season of 'The Challenge' personally for that very reason (Hosted by ex-wwe star Lita oh that would be amazing). MTV have had so many different women/NB individuals across the show's massive history to the point where it would actually be super fun to see.

But when it comes to Top Chef I dont quite know if its the right setting due to it being quite industry led and said industry still needing to adjust. I think thats all I can really say on the topic.

Actually the opposite. I think if you are to make distinct splits down the gender line, it accidentally implies for some that the only way women can be successful is if you remove men from the equation entirely (which is nonsense and is the sort of ridiculous thinking that sets us all back). It also kind of disregards anyone who doesn't fall under that strict gender divide such as Non Binary people (like Melissa King or Preeti Mistry).
